  1. This will not stop me from having the back cover signed. My CGC dealer says rumor is he's in the process of negotiating a signing.
  2. actual color breaking defect on Frank's shoulder in the price box, or pet hair?
  3. Is the question, is it less than 9.4? With the corner, this looks more or less like a 9.4. Higher, not impossible but not probable.
  4. 8.5/9.0. A few spine ticks and 2 corners with some issues
  5. 6.0/6.5 the soiling is an issue. If that were to come off and the non-color breaking indentions pressed, maybe as high as 7.0/7.5
  6. We'll have an answer in a short 3-18 months, which is my best prediction on turnaround based on recent experience.
  7. I was leaning 2.5, but 3.0 seems fair. The whole run of the 1st Dr. Strange self-titled series are great. Some of my favorites.
  8. Agree with 3ish range. Lots going on with this one. It is a great cover, as is the DD in this style.
  9. Not enough data, but I think the SSS get a bit of leniency when they survived the beginning reader audience. I do think this one grades lower than the 39 here, but in the same ballpark (after C/P). So many of the SSS look like they went to war. Maybe a few nicer issues of #1 just b/c collectors went after a Spidey #1 back in the day. I love the quirkiness of both these books. Highly recommended just for the oddity (I think that's a big factor in why my CGC retailer picked this one out)
  10. getting the full c&p treatment. Praying for no invisible stains. Got a shocker back on a Marvel Premiere 28 that looks 8-9, at worse 7.5, but apparently has a stain (that I can't ID), so all the way down to 6.5

The dreaded stain penalty. The only possibility I see is around the price box corner. I'm squinting to figure it out
  13. I tend to agree here. It looks like the bottom corner got bumped at some point along the way. That said, if you look at enough graded comics online, you can see a large range of grades for corners like this that don't look like manufacturing damage to my eye. I would expect CGC to have a heavier hand with a book this new though. Also with two corners, I think you wouldn't have much hope of anything higher than 9.2
  14. tentative 8.0. Is there something going on around the top staple of the back cover? Outside of whatever you highlighted on the other side of the back cover a some spine ticks, not much to complain about.
  15. 6.0±0.5. I can't quite bet on +FN or better with 3 sites of color breaking creases & what looks like some tanning of the back cover. It looks quite nice though.
  16. 4.0* from me too. I've been regretting not sending my to a Steranko signing this past April. Although, it wasn't cheap and I sent 3 I liked better. *missed the detached cover. 2.0/2.5
  17. my first impulse was 5.0, so 5.5±0.5. 6.0 is probably a stretch with those corner creases, but on the right day....
