  1. Yellow backgrounds are hard to grade b/c they hide defects pretty well. Guessing 8.5ish
  2. 6.0/6.5. Mostly for that top edge. Initial thoughts were a grade lower, but I think this sneaks into the just below VF range.
  3. >9.0. IDK if Byrne will return to the circuits, but this would be a cool signature book.
  4. Around 9. Your pics are a little too dark to really see finer defects. Would need to see those to assess what c/p might do. I don't see anything signficant for C/P, but there could be some light handling issues to press that would be hard to see in photos regardless. Ink issues on the inside shouldn't be a factor. Only might keep something from getting a 9.8.
  5. Low end of what I would have expected. My 4.5 was a 4.0 with a boost for being a semi-key. I'm guessing the split took what would be a 4.0 for creasing down a notch. They're pretty hard on splits
  6. Maxes out around 6.0 I think, but I think a 5.5 is more likely. I would not classify this as a great grading candidate even with the rare-ish MJ insert. I want to see something in the VF range and/or a key issue. Other than being from a desirable era of X-Men comics, there's not really an escalator to give you a ROI. Maybe if it has personal value & you had it signed by Claremont, it could be nice for your PC. I would not expect to get your $$$ back if you graded & sold it.
  7. your photos are showing up as black squares. Possibly not a format that this forum can handle.
  8. Both were sent to the CGC private signing, but the What if...? didn't get unboxed properly, so they sent it off to the SWAU signing. Probably not a label I would have chosen, but can't complain about the grade.
  9. There are several spots on the BC where there is something reddish/brown. IDK what that is, but if it's not ink from the inside ofthe back cover, it could be a problem.
  10. 1.0 & no. No money or time invested will make this book grade higher.
