  1. 9.0 seems right with that slightly roughed up corner
  2. around 7.0 right now. Perhaps 7.5 if the back could be cleaned well
  3. Listing is gone now. I assume enough people reported it to ebay and/or cgc. The shop is still there was some high-priced items FWIW, but no comics
  4. 7.0/7.5 sounds right, but this is a tough one to grade with images.
  5. around 7.0 for a book from this era I think. One of the harder defects to quantify IMO
  6. I want to know who is bidding on it. Part of the scam driving up the price, or are buyers really that guillible?
  7. FYI, I already email the fraud alert. It's either the book, or someone used photos of it for this listing (i.e. a different scam)
  8. It appears to be back: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186447955153 Or someone is trying another scam.
  9. That could be indentions from the printing roller, but I do not know enough specifics about production to say for sure. It does look like light indentions (like a polybag crease). Trying a press is probably worth it. Not risky or expensive, but I'd want to see an improvement before even considering a submission. If they persisted after pressing & you want a graded copy in your PC, I would look for another copy. The grade would depend a lot on whether the graders attributed this to production (maybe get to a 9.0?) or were from something else (7.0/7.5).
  10. 3.0 or for some reason I won't understand, 3.5
  11. All the splotchy brown on the back, and some on the inside of the front, appears to be foxing to me. It's not to worst foxing, but it's pretty significant for a bronze age book. I would not bet on anthing over 5.0/5.5.
  12. 5ish is right. You might clean it to a slightly more presentable forn, but I doubt it moves the needle on the grade. There's not really any ROI on cleaning on grading, unless it's just a PC preference.
  13. Depending on what the smudy stuff is along the spine, 9.0 or better. If it's stained, lower, but it doesn't look like staining to me.
  14. 6.5/7.0. Thorough professional cleaning might get a 7.0. FMV of a graded 7.0 is somewhere around $60. I'd call this an enjoy it as-is kind of comic.
  15. You should give the grader notes when asking such a question. C/P can only help with surface grime and non-color breaking bends & whatnot. I see a lot of color-breaking creases, staple tears, small stains and maybe even fading on the left side of the cover. From everything I've seen & heard, CCS is most effective with routine C/P, nto major overhails that might get a 1-grade boost. It's not clear to me that there's much of a case to be made that getting a higher grade is probable.
