  1. 8.0 for tanning. I don't think a tiny tear is an issue here
  2. Not exactly a "Grade is in' update, but closure on this particular topic. I acquired another copy of this book based on the PGM feedback. The submitted book looked slightly better raw & didn't have an internal page chipped. This was my plan from the beginning.
  3. Another book finished up at CGC today. First of this book on the census. By my research, the preview came out ~2 months before the original series. IDK if there were any other previews that came out at the same time or before.
  4. I agree these photos are not great. A phone with a high quality camera can provide good images or even scans, but you have to take care to use proper lighting, resolution settings, etc. I'll give this an uncertain 7.0 b/c there could easily be defects obscured by blurriness
  5. Might have 2 more infrequently encountered books getting his signature in February. I'm definitely becoming more biased toward getting signatures on books they don't sign very often.
  6. You can go read about the history on this one. Signed over a year ago. I think the grade is harsh, but it looks good. https://boards.cgccomics.com/topic/509443-grade-is-in-hulk-330-mark-jewelers-saga-finally-concludes/
  7. People were pretty close on this one, but IDK if it was for the right reason(s). No one mentioned, and I missed it was well, that there is a small water stain along the spine on the back. I suspect that cost at least a grade if not two based on past experience. IDK how easy it is to see in the scans through the holder, but it's there. If you look at the front cover, it looks like a higher grade book.
  8. For any disappointment with the other PGM updates today, they are offset by this. Anyone who thinks an 8.5 is a disappointing grade for this has never handled these flimsy AF large UK reprints . Tied with 2 other copies at the top of the census.
  9. So, the carbon footprint of this one has to set some kind of record. It's been back & forth to CGC several times over the past +1 year b/c of all the drama documented above. By the certification, they did re-grade this in January. We hypothesize they regraded this last time b/c of the recent MJs drama. All that said, I think this got graded too harshly.
  10. All from Big Apple Comic Con. All alone on top in the Signature census. Issue 1 of the monthly magazine came out on top of the entire census (only 3 total)
