  1. Even just the year would help narrow it down. I mean someone has to know.
  2. I’d imagine someone at image comics would know. I’m going to send them an email and see what info they can provide.
  3. Okay I figured that’s what it was. That’s where shops need to pay attention and put limits on what people buy if it’s popular. I don’t know anyone personally who would buy all copies of any books. With Spider-verse 2 I went to my lcs and bought a copy. Then a few days later I grabbed another. Over the course of a few weeks I picked up 6 copies. I could’ve grabbed em all at once but wanted others to have s chance.
  4. Maybe I’m missing something. You sell things to make money, right? I hardly see a sellers motives for making money effecting the buyers ability to read and enjoy a book. So if we’re not allowed to sell kids books how are they supposed to get them in the first place?
  5. You’re not making a lot of sense. So selling books to younger people is taboo because it’s going to drive them away from the hobby? Umm, I bet most on here started reading and then collecting comics as kids and were still around buying comics. Besides the fact that it was in reference to Canto which you deemed a children’s story. I know a lot of adults who are enjoying it. We’re all entitled to our opinions but ting on someone because they’re selling a certain book is unnecessary.
  6. And the source? I know it was back in 2009 but nothing came of it.
  7. Couldn’t pass these up. Better pics to follow. All Newsstands.
  8. I’ve always found it weird that it’s against usps rules and regulations to ship comics media mail. Meanwhile eBay who’s partnered with the USPS and thus should be aware of these rules isn’t. When I list books it defaults to media mail as the shipping choice. I never ship that way even if requested.
  9. If it’s the same book it would have the same registry number. So that parts easy to figure out. It definitely sounds like shill bidding but not much you can do about it besides not giving them your future business.
  10. Really looking forward to seeing these books when you get them all back.
  11. By far the easiest way to distinguish newsstands from direct editions.
  12. I’ve been collecting post 2000 newsstands for only about 8 months and all online. Some of the books are very hard to find let alone in high grade. I’m sure they're out there but it’s few and far between since I’ve been collecting. This most recent Exiles were only bought because they were dirt cheap and newsstands. Including shipping at $1.79/Each. I’m moving away from the newsstands and saving up for silver and bronze keys.
  13. How’s that a weak game? If you’re flipping the point is to make money. Buy low sell high and the wider variety of books you have the wider base of customers you have.
  14. Lost a few Captain Americas tonight, which usually doesn't happen. But I was able to snag these two Fantastic Fours.
  15. Picked up 3 copies and has a first appearance or two to boot.
  16. There’s a plethora of different spec sites that are free and my comic money goes towards comics and supplies. Not apps or groups.
  17. If they did they need to work on their story. The numbers posted previously by them reported 50-60 copies going to a total of only 56 of the Walmart’s nationwide. Now we have new numbers. I’d like to swear a bunch right now but I won’t. The numbers keep changing makes he think they’re full of it.
  18. Ordered tonight at a great price. Already have several and will always pick up the newsstands.
  19. At some point these moderns especially first appearances will see increases. Since you can get in at cover price or less if you preorder I’d say it’s a decent investment. I sold all my Silver and Bronze Age Keys several years ago and now prices are out of my reach for most of them.
  20. I agree. Besides being posted by some person online what other sources confirm these numbers? Do we have a press release from Walmart or DC?These people aren’t all honest and may have ulterior motives. I mean all they have to do is comment on a book and people will buy it no questions asked. I’m not saying this is the case but I don’t see this book maintaining these values for very long.
