They could have multiple copies and are to lazy to update the listing. That could explain the second listing. How do you determine shill bidding anyway? I mean is it just taking the time to look though their sold items? What patterns would indicate potential shill bidding?

I’m not 100% on it but I don’t see any reason there wouldn’t be newsstands. When published in the mid 90’s newsstands were readily available almost everywhere. I mean they had started to decline but in my area they were available. I’m still looking for a new X-men 133 newsstand a year later.

As far as I know there should be. Those later ones will be harder to find than the earlier ones due to the print runs dropping over the course of the series.

One of my favorite artists and I think some of his best work is in this series.

I have to agree something fishy when they can be had for half that price BIN. I can see bidding taking it up a bit more than other BIN’s but not that much.

Thanks!! There’s several books in that run that have minor first appearances but I feel there’s room for growth. I’ve lost count of many I own but it’s gotta be close to a dozen each of some of them. New X-Men 133 in newsstand has eluded me so far. I’ve only seen one and it was a beat up copy. Yeah X-Men is one of my series I always pick up. I used to have a complete run of the first series. Excluding 1-5, the reprints & 266 I had them all. I’m not a Gambit fan and refused to pay high prices for it. Not newsstands though as I wasn’t into them at that point. I’m slowly filling it back out though.

Won these today and they maybe the nicest copies I have.

Someone outbid me yesterday on a drop dead gorgeous copy so I found another copy. Not as nice but about 1/3 the price as the other.
