I thought you were serious. I’m just going by what you typed out and I can bet there were others who took it serious and some who may have actually blocked a person because you called them out. My bad if you were trying to be funny. It’s hard to sense someone being sarcastic or facetious online.
-
I mean he definitely has a point. You blocked someone on eBay because you deem what they sell as trash. You didn’t have a bad experience or even know the person. It just shows the type of person you are. I took a look through the items and saw a ton of coins that are worth something. Along with books, which come on man you collect, buy & sell books yourself.

As far as I know the inside paper is different as well. It’s the cheaper more newsprint type of paper instead of the heavier glossier stuff that the directs had. -

It’s the first appearance of Hope Summers. She’s not their daughter though more Cables daughter as he raised her. She was the first mutant born after House of M.

There were a few series and this is one of those titles that started at Image and ended up at DC. So it likely went from being available at newsstands, not available and back on newsstands when it went to DC. Here’s a link though you may have to sign up for a free account to view results. They’re also in the process of adding newsstands to the guide. https://comicspriceguide.com/Search -
Can’t win them all. How’d the book turn out? Looked good in the pics if I remember correctly.

In the words of Dr. Algernop Krieger. Stop! My Pen is can only get so erect. -
I wasn’t aware of that. I’m not new to comics or graded books and have owned several hundred graded books. None of them have ever moved. Not to say they don’t, because I trust you know your stuff. It seems like something CGC should work on improving.
-
I guess my point is that it’s not supposed to shift and getting enough of a refund for the buyer to get it corrected would be good customer service. Otherwise it’s not as described. It may be nitpicking but that’s serious money to drop in a book.
-
Shrewd business move on your part. Block buyers because there’s something wrong with the book that wasn’t disclosed or known about. Granted I only own about 50 graded books but none of them shift around. My thinking is the holder is supposed to keep the book safe right? That’s not the only reason people buy or slab books but it’s a big part of it. If that book is able to shift around it could get damaged potentially. Why take the chance when there’s plenty of graded copies of that particular book available? I admit I’m very particular but I want what was advertised.
-
To be honest if I received a graded book and it shifted around in the case I’d want to return as well. Or enough money off to get it properly re-slabbed.
-
I think that the real question should be why does CGC even bother? I mean they’re cool but they get at least half covered by the CGC sticker?
-
I think they’re all pretty cool if you’re into it. What’s the point when the actual artwork gets covered by the hologram CGC sticker?
-
These I never pass up if the price is right and it definitely was. I lost track of how many copies of each I have now. Going to have to do some digging, organizing & updating my list of comics. Really only have to go through 4 long boxes and a short one as the rest was updated recently.

Key Collector who also have an old swamp thing on their list as a first appearance of swamp thing as an ear of corn. Not joking or kidding. People are foolish to pay for their services. -

From what I’ve read there’s two versions. The Direct has a thick card stock cover and no yellow upc on the back. The newsstand had a thin glossy cover and a yellow upc on the back. You said it was poly bagged, as in from the printers or someone just stuck it in there? What’s under that crooked white sticker would answer what version it is. It looks like the direct edition. -
