  1. In his defense, you may have missed the post but he did state the issue the buyer complained about was shown in one of the pics. A link to the listing would immediately answer any and all questions though. I’ve never banned or blocked anyone. Though honestly a few sellers have blocked me because I want what I paid for and not some damaged trash because they couldn’t be bothered to package properly.
  2. Just won these tonight, I was the only bidder and spent well under $20 including shipping. I love getting cheap newsstands.
  3. You know I knew that but had gotten so used to only seeing people complain about buyers. It’s amazing that so many, even with years of experience don’t know how to properly package books. I’d say at least 40% of what's shipped to me is In someway not packaged properly and gets damaged.
  4. Is there a thread for bad sellers? I get a fair amount of sellers who don’t know how to package or ship and when the books finally get to you there trashed because the seller thought throwing them in an oversized box with absolutely no protection or fillers to avoid the books shifting around was a great shipping method. Or just in a plain manilla envelope. Or they cram 21 bagged & boarded Bronze Age hulks including 2 35 cent variants into a padded flat rate envelope. Usually their response is rude, along with saying they ship this way all the time and have never had any issues. I run across bad sellers a lot more than bad buyers.
  5. Having your books professional pressed is actually a bad thing in terms of conservation. It speeds up the decaying of the comic and shortens it’s life drastically.
  6. What part of the entire inside and uncoated side of your boards being acid producing don’t you understand? What part of having to replace these boards every few years for them to be safe is not penetrating your thick skull? There a fraction cheaper, don’t work long term and need to be replaced constantly how is this a cheaper alternative to actual archival supplies?
  7. To me price is irrelevant. Was the damage disclosed in the description or pics? If not I’d return it myself and the seller would pay the return shipping. I wouldn’t threaten negative feedback though.
  8. Your boards are coated on one side and the insides and opposite sides a hot mess. Don’t compare you’re non archival quality boards to archival quality and proven ones. It’s ridiculous. I also was using your brand for my new books but no longer.
  9. Your backing boards are . Without a doubt utter trash. How is it affordable if you have to switch them out every few years? Not even considering your backing boards are about the same price as E Gerbers.
  10. That way when the newspaper rips during shipping it can finish the journey bouncing around. The plastic bag is not only stronger but waterproof.
  11. Nice books but this is a thread on Modern Newsstands which those aren’t. Still nice though.
  12. They will designate it as a newsstand if it’s got a different price than the direct edition. There’s other reasons they will but that’s the main one.
  13. Yeah I was going to say I have some Wolverines that have Display Until Dates of Late December of 2013. So there should be a few more as already stated.
  14. He wasted all those millions on that stupid baseball.
  15. Recently found some cannabis both inside the bag and inside the book itself. Years ago I had gotten some nice early FF Silver Age books and they were slimy. I believe they had been in the bags so long that the bags started breaking down because the bags were extra slimy feeling. Have also found plenty of boogers and stuck together pages.
  16. CGC would put newsstand price variant on the label of those books. Only because the prices differ from the direct market versions.
