  1. They can be. Just like comics, it's all about condition. You can get loose ones for a couple bucks, punched ones for a bit more, and the unpunched cards are most expensive, especially if you're bidding against another guy who needs that one. Some of these only come up every year or two if that.
  2. And the cabinets below hold my comic related paperbacks on the left and toys on the right.
  3. The six shelves upper center hold my favorite authors in alphabetical order.
  4. Thank you! The right column goes like this: Top Shelf: Fireside Hardcovers (and softcovers if no HC was issued) Charles Burns section Paul Pope Jeff Smith Mike Mignola Frank Miller 1 Frank Miller 2 Neil Gaiman
  5. (thumbs u ok with me! That cover reminds me of Charles Burns, especially Doc Strange in the circle upper right. Excellent.
  6. Thanks! I've been collecting them for 20 years, and finally had my bother in law build the shelf for me to hold them all.
  7. I saw those they are awesome. Candy bars too. Good thinking on their part.
  8. Those are sick. Yep, they should have done more than four.
  9. I was hoping G.A.tor would post a pic of his Surfer but… Here are my Surfers. The one on the left was sold to me as a "Gold variant". I'm pretty sure it's just a "Gold blister variant".
  10. This was my favorite one to play with when I was a kid. The entire body pops up, funny car style, so you can see the frame, seat and engine inside. Big fat black back tires. So cool.
  11. Me too! I know some other folks have some of these.
  12. Iron Man has a variant: two interior colors. The one on the left has a tan interior. The one on the right has a red interior. When you push down on the back of the car it clicks and stays low. When you push again it clicks back up. I don't think there's a blue (1977) version of this car. I've never seen one.
  13. Yep, I bought Wolverine and an X-Men Authentics when they were on clearance, and I think I have them somewhere. Didn't like the Iron Man car at all and I think the ASM was sold out. I thought there were more than 4, but that's probably because there *seemed* like there should be more. It's not the one in this box is it (Dillon Punisher)? I can't be bothered to take it down to check.
  14. Thanks man. Yeah post some pics if your computer cooperates.
  15. Western Penn double cover. From the last batch of books I submitted.
  16. Nice. Are you collecting a MTIO run, or do you just like pedigrees?
  17. You can buy a loose one on ebay for a couple bucks. It is pretty cool. I haven't heard of the Marvel Authentic cars. I'll have to check them out. Here's a fun set. The Blue card Hulk, Yellow card Hulk, and an error version where they forgot to apply the Hulk decal. There is a decal on the other side.
