  1. Whoa! That's a nice one for sure, but not 9.4 or even 9.2 IMO. Not that it matters much for a book so rare. Did it actually sell? I can't see a bid, but I'm looking from the app.
  2. That is just awesome. Great book. I love it....very nice condition as well..... So will CGC grade the inner cover if submitted? Or just note the cover inside? Both will be graded and the highest grade of the two will be displayed on the CGC case. No. In this case CGC will give it a Qualified grade and only grade the outside cover. Is that true? If so I'm bummed, as I don't care for Q covers. Just because it's in the center it's not a double cover and treated as such? Bizarre if true.
  3. Bummer. I've sent a few back that didn't have the notation. I'm sure you noted it on the form. Also easier to miss without the sunburst. I wonder if it went on the census or not?
  4. Great catch! It seems to me like auctions always go for less than BIN (talking variants here). Such a specific buyer - sometimes it takes a long time for the right one to come along. Great opportunity for us collectors to pick up some books at below market value.
  5. Thank you Godfather of Canadian editions/variants. Do you think there are hundreds of Canadian Multi-mags, or just a few? I've only seen our two Wolverines (2 and 4 with Hercules 2 and 4), and five different New Mutants packs, which I just lost at auction Oh, and Indiana Jones 1, which I just won yesterday.
  6. Same auction included a Canadian Multi-Mags with Wolverine 2 and Hercules 2, but he opened the bag "Once i noticed a mark on the wolverine 2 i opened original polybag to give a accurate description." That was advertised, so, sad but OK. I just wish he had used a little more caution when opening the bag Even if I ever opened one I picture myself spending an hour thinking about it before delicately slicing one side of the bag with an exacto knife so I could carefully remove the books from the bag Already put the Wolverine in Fullback and Mylar before I thought to post this.
  7. Just picked up my first Canadian Multi-Mags! Super stoked to have this. I never see them come up for sale. Wolverine 4 and Hercules 4 both Canadian Edition.
  8. Thank you both. I enjoy your blog canickus.
  9. Thanks! I don't believe I have ever seen one either. I had to have it. I collect Miller and variants, so it covers two of my favorites!
  10. I was hoping folks would post more of these multi-packs (though I understand it's not something most people have already photographed and requires that step). This one is not mine. I'd love to start a list of variations. There aren't that many images online, and they rarely come up for sale.
  11. And an ad for various Marvel items, including the Hot Wheels.
  12. Got it, thanks. I could definitely get into those too, but, like you, am trying to limit the amount of space I'm taking up.
  13. I've never seen them in the wild either (since I had them as a kid). Every one I've purchased has been online. I don't collect HW outside of comics related stuff, specifically marvel, but I easily could see myself getting hooked, as I had them as a kid, so the nostalgia element is there. The Marx trikes are 1960s I believe? Those are cool, but my self imposed date restrictions prohibit it (pretty much bronze only). Otherwise I'd have shipping containers full of this stuff. Never heard of tin litho, are they signs?
  14. Love the comics too, thanks. I'm a huge Adams fan, and these covers are tough in high grade!
  15. That's a super clean one! Nice. Do you have the set or just a few? Any multi-packs?
  16. That cover is superb. Probably one of my favourite works by burns. This piece was in the Baumgold show, for sale some years back. Don't recall the price.
