  2. To some of the earlier comments about the integrity of auctions and self-dealing (all driven by speculation) - here is a fun story about NFTs. https://variety.com/2022/film/news/pulp-fiction-nft-secret-network-guy-zyskind-1235384962/#recipient_hashed=2da0c9a63dfde7cdde0e2a1de03bf431c50536ffff57e276d67a67dca3984739&recipient_salt=cd945304a523d435b22d14e4a81c9d812285f22c5f86488844ac2e7a487fc7a7

  4. Already in the $872k. Their site is not the greatest because it is not tallying the BP during the auction (as Heritage does). But if you have a listing up and active you can watch the final price update within a few hours of the close.
  5. And GPA includes BP in the final price.
  6. Add Hulk 170, 172, 173, and 174 @ 50% off. Thanks!
  7. Take : Iron Man: 109, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 121, 122, 123, 124, 130, 132 Hulk: 193, 194, 196, 197, 198, 199, 200
  8. Right now I am just pulling (manually) GPA data when each of these auctions come up - I don't have a historical database. In theory, I could add a year (or two) going back but would be stuck picking the high or low from that year. I just don't have the time to compute the average of that year as GPA summary only shows high/low. My instinct is that most books have a curve that generally looks like this (this happens to be Amazing Spider-Man #14 6.0). I will also say that I rarely look at the Market reports available in GPA. But the August volume report was really interesting if anyone was curious about the relative size of the market for each of the comic ages. More context on the supply side of the equation.
  9. I do feel that the supply side of the equation is starting to change. Over the past few years, The weekly Heritage auctions would have ample higher grade ASM books for sale each week (think 6.5 to 8.5 of issues 1-20). It feels (I purposely am using feels because I have not crunched the data) that when those show up now there are more lower grade titles (2.0 to 5.0). same on clink - my waitlist has been showing fewer and fewer auction listings for tracked titles while the exchange inventory is swelling. Very often at prices that felt more aligned to the market of late 2021. Often listings are more than double clinks own auction results
  10. Part of my addiction is I just love the smell of those 70s and 80s books…..just a huge sensory memory. Yes - you might catch me with a literal nose in the book from time to time
