  1. actually, it was the 3.0 on HA (NOV 2016) with poor registration that went for $77k. The 2.5 (better registration) went for $87k days ago....
  2. the 37 was the first pre robin I owned. I prefer the rolling fog and full moon scene over the smiling batman on the 36.
  3. I believe Supe 1s are running about $70k-$80k per point in low grade, so still stronger than Cap 1....check that, a 1.0 Supe 1 on GPA shows a $110k sale for a 1.0 in Sept 2017
  4. Based on tonight's results on the 1.5, I'd say Cap 1 has passed Bat 1 by a little. This is the largest ppp I've seen a low grade Cap 1 sell for private or public. I know a Bat 1 in 2.0 sold earlier this year for $75k and for more (at least $80k+) after it was flipped.
  5. It sometimes only takes one sale to push another over the top. If (when) the 1.5 sells for a strong number, it will push the CLINK 2.5 copy to sell at $95K or the $77.7k bid will undoubtedly increase.
  6. Yeah, probably higher than $250k+ with all due respect to Bedrock’s amazing 6.0 copy.
  7. Much more than whatever the 6.0 Twilight copy sells for in a week. I’d guess $250k+ on a 5.0 Cage OCT copy.
  8. $10k+ more than the 3.0 blurry copy from last year, so seems like a good price considering the eye appeal. I'm wondering how much the notes about the interior affected the final price...?
  9. Small shows are back in the mix. I suspect the true comic book collectors rather not pay expensive costs for travel/convention passes and deal with all the cosplay. Rather, they are content box diving and shopping in a smaller room of 10-20 pure vintage comic dealers. Terry's Show and the Berkeley Con are prime examples of this.

  11. agreed. It could crack 100k, but I see it a little short of 100. In the past year, I know of complete, entry level copies that have sold privately for about $30k and $40k, respectively.
  12. this 3.0 with terrible registration sold for $77k last NOV 2016 https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/marvel-comics-1-timely-1939-cgc-gd-vg-30-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7141-91134.s?ic4=OtherResults-SampleItem-071515&tab=ArchiveSearchResults-012417
  13. I was watching that one. It would seem $4700 was strong for a 1.0, but seems like $4k -$5k is the entry level price for a complete Hulk 1 with no outstanding front cover eye sores.
  14. the double/triple full backing boards with super gold mylar has been a Bunky trademark. Even the rattiest of books will "pop" when Bunky packages it.
  15. I saw this split wrap sell on eBay about 15 years ago from the Dentist for I believe around $950. Or perhaps that was the opening bid. Can’t recall.
