  1. Happy to help. My guess is that is appeared Marvel was trying to experiment with a price bump from 15 to 25 cents. In doing so, they printed 48 page comics and priced them at a quarter while having some 15 centers out still. Somehow, perhaps sales data reflected a quarter was too steep a hike so they opted to go with 20 cents. Of course we know in 1974, it did go up to a quarter followed by all the 30 and 35 cent price variant experimentation.

  4. It’s tough, but people tend to hold their copies. I once was lucky and scored three copies (2.5, 3.5, 5.0) 11 years ago in a span of a few months. The 8 is much tougher.
  5. agreed. Leave it raw and enjoy it. Slabbing it won't get it a SS yellow label.
  6. George, I suspect that cat turns into a TIGER when any comics are threatened?!
  7. Always good stuff and service from Isaac. Not a bad looking book for the grade.
  8. I thought he owned it, but I could be mixing it up with another book...
  9. I see it hard passing Supe 1 for the time being, but it should pass AA16....and the Joker will always keep Bat 1 within reach...
  10. agreed, and I think Josh owns the 2.5 outright. I noticed it was off the site this morning. I'm guessing he got a private offer north of $95K and sold it or is putting it away for a future auction. Maybe we will see it re-listed at a BIN of $115k - $125K....?
