  6. still sounds like a pretty strong price.
  7. Pre Bats are still Pre robins. Nice 18 and even nicer July 11 arrival date penciled at top. What other GA was in this Kansas City collection?
  8. Well, based upon the front cover scans only, that is definitely an understatement. Of course, there might also be other unseen defects on the $110K copy on the back cover or in the interior which would not be showing up on front cover scan only. Could also be due to the quality differences between the 2 scans. More than likely though, another example of inconsistent grading between loose grading and tight grading time periods as the $110K copy was graded back in 2007, while the $87K copy was graded in 2015 when the competition was nipping at its heels. Another case example for buying the book, as opposed to buying the label. the $110k copy has a clean BC as I owned it from 2009 - 2015. The dust shadow is much less pronounced in hand. It is a true 5.0 IMO.
  9. 1.8 Scott. Press put the spine roll and it's a 2.0 Cool, full date stamp on the spine. I've never seen that placed there. I imagine the stamper thought the stamp would not interfere with the cover by placing it to the side on the spine.
  10. Any idea when this sale took place? Is it the same copy that sold for something like $87K back in September of 2015, or was it a copy new to the marketplace? my old copy that I sold in May 2015
  11. very cool story and cooler dad So that glue was put on pre 1976?
  12. i think I sold Craig a few of those any blue or all PLOD? Pretty set.
  13. the 31 was my first and former copy that I slabbed in 2007.
  14. easy - the person who owns an original Tec 31 cover that now (if they choose) can marry with this slabbed interior and have a complete (but married) copy. If that's the case, then Advantage = seller and buyer
  15. I can think of a few books that Gino would be after that would sit better than a MM46 IMO. Happy hunting Gino and nice book
