    that's a tough book. I'd leave it alone. Looks 3.0-3.5 at the very minimum. If the tape were removed, I still see it as a 3.0 minimum. The tape is not obtrusive to the eye appeal.

    I personally like the 7.5 white (pending other defects). Assuming both copies are near identical, then I'd take the white pager.

    it would have to be cracked out and examined raw. If successful, scraping off CT could result in paper loss and a drop in the grade. Depends on how much CT there is. I'm guessing the CT, is along the spine near the "H"?
