  1. I don’t think I have seen any copies higher than 7.0 in awhile.
  2. Ditko > Romita 1st Doc Ock > 1st Kingpin 3 > 50 Spidey Pin up > no pin up
  3. Likewise, I prefer to say Reilly collection over San Francisco, since the books were never in SF and discovered across the bay in Piedmont…
  4. My lone Sal penciled page from Subby 31 (1970)
  5. I am thinking "09" is for Sept in which both the A30 and A43 could have been in those release months. I am seeing the #30 as a late Sept 1940 release and #43 in mid Oct 1941 - it's quite possible 43s had Sept release dates depending on the region and distribution...as for the "4" -
  6. Sounds like you have previous experience with high dollar transactions and vintage comics?
  7. Agreed, Sean. Plus, the rarity factor is also there with Supe 1...It's earlier too, 1939. Supe 1 - never owned; same for Tec 27 and Action 1. That said, the Joker and Catwoman have always scored some major 1st appearance points with Bat 1. But, I'm a Timely guy, so it's Marvel 1 for me. I like Cap 1, but I don't love it. I have swapped Bat 1 for Cap 1 (and vice versa) twice in my career to experience both. The Reilly Cap 1 was unseen since the late 70s/early 80s, and has since sold publicly twice in the last two years. It's always fun to see a comic book hit 7 figures.
  8. Let's not forget Marvel Comics #1 - "The Greatest Comic Book Ever Published" @CW @BitterOldMan @shortboxed @Ameri @VintageComics
