overnight process. That would mean that if I had 50 books to press and only 1 press, I would need 50 days to press them?

Overnight for comics that need maximum effect of the press. I own two 15x15 presses so I'm able to press 4 comics a day.  If you have 50+ comics to press you need at least a 15x15 press to fit two comics inside. Or multiple presses. Depends on your goals and how long you plan to be pressing. Pressing is not something that can be done in haste and requires lots of patience. Sometimes I've gotten away with 12 hours "cold press" and the effects were satisfying

Nice. I should have paid more attention back then. :)

Didn't get as much, but still making out better than I thought I would. Was at a point I'd thought I sell them for about a $1 a piece.  Still have a few more lots to post and sell.

I’d definitely hold onto Groo until something actually releases

I bought one of these at NYCC for $5.00 because I know some collectors will pay a good premium for it. That said, I really hate the cover because it is such obvious propaganda. This reminds me of some of the comics from the sixties when celebrities would be on the cover, thus completely breaking the fourth wall between the comic book world and the real world. A cover related to the story, in the style of a proper Spider-Man cover, would be much preferred. If the story is about SM meeting "the president" it shouldn't be whoever is really president, but a made up president. Making it a real president limits the narrative options considerably.

They’ve done this multiple times. By they refer also to Spawn and Savage Dragon.. anything to get copies to sell. Cover cameos, variants, multiple prints

Groo was mentioned earlier in this thread but not specifically the Marvel Epic Comics Groo the Wanderer.

Issue 119 and 120 have had some good numbers on ebay. (~$55 for 120 on it's own).

I ended up selling a several different runs of Marvel Epic Groo the Wanderer.

For my set of 111 to 120 got an average of $10 a book (although it was more about 119 and 120). For 101 to 110 average of $7 a book. Active listings got bids for runs of 91 to 100 and 81 to 90.

I sold a full 100-120 run for $300 quickly in high grades about a year or more ago

I'm a Mike Mignola fan, as evidenced by my creating an appreciation thread some time ago in which I commented his copper age books haven't increased in value. Today, out of curiosity I looked up what his Aliens: Salvations one shot is going for and it's fair to say it's heating up...

This is the highest recent sale but there's several around the $60 AUD mark also. Not so long ago this was a $5-6 book...

I follow that local seller and I’ve noticed the high price increase too

Really nice condition on those. Well done!

I've ventured into a territory I was going to stay away from. For $45US I've added one of the Super 7 TMNT to my Pile Of Loot at BBTS. The current price, 55, seems ridiculous, but for 45, I'll give it a go. I got Donatello. I'm also getting, thanks to a US friend, the upcoming NECA TMNT 2 box set of all 4 movie Turtles. Looks great, and updated articulation compared to the first box set. I was kicking myself for missing that set, now I'll come out ahead.

I used to have a big SW figures collection loose and carded.. I sold em all off years ago. I don't really purchase figures but it felt like a good price in the moment from the original owner.. majority are missing the weapons. I don't know much about TMNT figures though
