  1. If I had an AF 15 in a state of 0.5 restored, I would not even exchange it for a TMNT # 1 in a state of 9.8 (provided that I cannot resell it). For me, the most important factor is not the cost of the book, but its significance. And AF 15 is one of the most important and key books in comic history. It was in her that one of the most famous superheroes in the world appeared. And this is the book that changed the entire comic book industry. Perhaps the fact is that I am simply poor and I do not understand the logic of the rich and their desire for high grades.

  2. I am glad that such a topic has finally appeared and I can pour out all my rage on speculators and those who buy from speculators (although, most likely, they are speculators themselves). I hope my English is enough to explain everything: I hate all the "keys" where a character from films, games, cartoons first appeared. That is, the character was already known, but for some reason the comics where this character first appeared are considered desirable and expensive. The Star Wars comics are a prime example of this.
You see, for me the first appearance of a character is a whole history and culture. When I buy a Silver Age comic strip, where a famous character first appeared, I imagine how people first reacted to it and what thoughts they had in their heads. And when the character was already known and he appears in comics only because the owners of the franchise want to cover the entire market, then this is super stupid. Do speculators and collectors think that any first comic book appearance should be valued at the level of some Amazing Fantasy # 15?
And I just wildly hate all modern pseudo-keys, where a completely unknown character appears for the first time, but people are immediately like this: 100% he will become an important character in the comics and in a few years a movie will be announced with him. Moreover, this happens even with those characters who were invented literally for extras for a couple of episodes. This is reminiscent of the situation in the 90s, when publishers printed a bunch of first issues, and 12-year-olds bought, because the first issue of Spider-Man is very appreciated, which means that the first issue of the 90s will be appreciated decades later. Moreover, in Russia a lot of people are ready to buy these pseudo-keys, thinking that all the hype around them is created by collectors, and not speculators. And the most ordinary collectors buy them from us. Of course, in the United States, some collectors purchase these pseudo-keys, but they do it deliberately, and in my country people just think that since there is a lot of hype around this comic, then it is super cool and must be bought immediately for any money

  3. I'm glad that DD 1 is going up in price and finally getting appreciated. It seems to me that its true value should be close to ASM 1 or at least JIM 83. However, for some reason, everyone sells DD 1 in large quantities and does not consider a super ultra mega duper cool key, like ToS 39 or ASM 1. Perhaps this is because that the character has not yet been introduced into the MCU, but when he appears there, everyone will immediately remember this comic and want him to be included in the collection.

And do not forget that DD 1 is not only the first appearance and origin of the daredevil, but also his first solo release. This makes it even cooler

I am used to the fact that the US mail delivers in just three to four days. But my last package from San Diego to the Wilmington warehouse has been in transit for 15 days. Moreover, the status has not changed for four days. After reading this thread, I'm afraid that I might not have to wait more than a month, or that it is not lost at all(worship)

  5.

    hold:

New Mutants 98 - they said everything for me

Daredevil 1 - although I tried to sell it recently, but it turned out to be a failure. I think the prices will rise even more by the time the film and the series are released.

Marvel Spotlight 5 - Prices have skyrocketed recently. I think that with the introduction of the ghost rider in the MCU, prices will rise even more

    drop:

Thor # 2 and Thor # 5 - are one of my biggest comic collecting mistakes I've made. Although it's probably too late to get rid of them.

I don't want to have more to do with the keys of modern comics
