That is a consideration, thanks. It's on display in my office now where it will probably stay. More sentimental value right now than dollar value, but I think If I were to think about selling, I would probably go that route. As others have stated, I really wasn't that far off with my assessment and I do feel it presents well. Really, I was looking at in context with other 2.5's I've seen, but it's been explained that staple rust and stains are bigger issues than tape, tears or missing pages that do not impact the story.

The dialogue on the cover. A superhero with feeling of envy, jealousy, insecurity. Just found it a little funny....

I don't know about the grade but that dialogue is uncomfortable....

It went pretty quick. I happen to luck in on both. Usually, I'm late. I was going to think about this series but I went ahead and bought it. Seems like the next day it was gone....46 was a 1000. I think this one was 1500....

Agreed. This is kind of where i was at.... thinking 3.5, but definitely not a 4 or better.... certainly not anything (at least for me) to lose sleep over. I will stand by my opinion that I've seen a whole lot worse than this at 2.5 or better. This is not going anywhere. It was more or less slabbed for posterity's sake as there's sentimental value. It was one of 6 books I submitted. 1 came back as expected, 1 better than expected, 3 that were lower but 100% my fault and then this one.

Here's the comic in question. Yeah, it's pretty beat so i knew the grade would not be great going in, but when I look at other 2.5s with stains, torn covers, missing pages, tape.... I feel like this is on the low side....

That's actually a great idea. I'll do that with the grader notes....

You get your book back and you really feel the grade is not accurate.... beyond just resubmitting....

I like the cover, but don't get another Spider-Man comic.... Well, I guess I do....
