My first bulk submission came back today. Some winners...some losers... (was going to post these in comics general, but I thought you guys would like them better)

I noticed that the Air Force comic I picked up had a story by Quinlan and illustrations by Flessel.
Very nice!

Just got a few frames in.
I really like that frame.
Holy moly that's sweet!
-
Got a compendium from B&N with 5 of his books in one. Going to read them all...going to take awhile though as it's a fricken large book.
-
Finished David Copperfield last year, now reading Oliver Twist. Wanted to get into the classics.

Na, it was always the Penn copy. I have had this one for about almost 5-6 years, one of the earliest trooper books in my collection.

looks like we both love some quality white quality, cat. and please note: my logo is bigger than yours.
I have a raw one...
...but the logo gets even smaller shortly thereafter...
Love that Rubimor cover!
I will eventually get a Stormy Foster HIT run just for those gorgeous Crandall covers, but there is one specific non-Crandall Stormy Foster cover (Gill Fox art I think)...
...that I'll probably just acquire for the great Quality stories and interior art.
Now, back to Timely! (thumbs u

If only Kurt Russell did signings ---
Awesome! Didn't know those existed, do they make TPB's of those?

My last SS book from SDCC, think this is the only one graded edit: it's the only SS copy, there are two Qualified but mine is still the highest graded. I think the cover's gorgeous

I don't own many Jumbos (compared to Jungles for example) so I enjoyed reading this one today (thanks Phil) and discovering the regulars in Jumbo and quite enjoyed the whole book.
My favorite was Lee Ames' Stuart Taylor who travels through time to have adventures. In this story, he and his GF and her father travel to ancient Persia to meet with King Croesus, Solon and King Cyrus. Quite fun.
I also enjoyed Lightning and was surprised to see a super-hero feature in a Fiction House book. They really didn't run many. What are other FH SHs?
Lots of recognizable artists helped on this book: Webb, Ames, Blum, Leav, Winter, Cassone + the Zolne cover, this was a happy purchase
Super-American was another brief hero in briefs. Found this issue in the discount box at Bob Horn's shop. I would like another in better condition but the price was more than fair.

Here's the rough sketching with pencils:
Then a photocopy of the finished work, painted and framed:
I'm very happy with them!
Do you guys like the B&W best, or the colour version?
I like the COLOR version best.

Had two beers and then on a whim bought this (signed by BIZ never knew this existed, and for $25 seemed like a deal):
