What did you even do with this cover?
what he SHOULD have done was make the invisible woman's boobs bigger
-
Just one of my scores at SDCC, see the rest in my trooper thread
Vancouver pedigree (pages were whiter than greggy's legs)
-
O'mealia was awesomer.
Not very prolific, though. I think he did only 5 covers on Action?
Yes, but Action 2 is an amazing cover.
don't I know it

Which books are your favorite covers?
And my most recent favorite is the Super Harlem Globetrotter cover.
Never seen that cover before, love it!
-
That picture looks like Ani DiFranco

Terrible picture. I miss my old camera. I guess I will have to invest in a scanner. Maybe I should start a thread in general asking which is the best scanner to buy.
What an incredible book!
A true "Early Action" with a Classic cover and fantastic eye appeal. (thumbs u
wow, maybe that's where the idea of boxer-briefs came from

ok Ricardo, you ask I serve. How about this + one page of original art? Someone had a problem with the word "mammoth" in the second panel. It's a small sticker with the word on it.
Sweet and hard to find book!

Ok, I can officially become a member of this exclusive club. One question, according to the comic book database Sheldon Moldoff provided a one page filler story in this issue....should I get him to sign this book?
-
How much would it cost to Halloweenize this cover?
-
Some pretty wild splash pages though
Reminds me of SNL's ambiguously gay duo
-
we do have us some fun in gold, don't we!
I can only imagine you are being two coy with usI might be joining the club very very very soonOh, but which issue between 1-24 could it be!
cheater, you already know!
Will you be wearing a tu-tu & singing a tune when you pick up said comic?
I'll wear my infamous black spandex!

i was first runner-up at the pageant where this book was a finalist. it turns out that the winner can't serve out his term, and i get to ascend to the title of mr. vancouver! thanks so much to a boardie for putting me into this book. i just love it.
Never saw this book before and that Vancouver pedigree sure is something. Need to find me a neat book from this collection. Way to go StrawPal. (thumbs u
there's a nice vancouver up in the sales forum now. heard the seller is a really reasonable guy.
That's a "Straw-Man". (It begins )
I wonder if you were bidding against Vaughn ? That looks like a paratrooper cover to me. Very nice bp
thanks 'mac; the boardie was not vaughn, tho' i thought of him way back when it first appeared. in fact, the pennsylvania of this book sold recently and i hoped it was the 'trooper who won it. never saw it posted here, however.
Glad to part with it for the great Billy Parker!
Where was this auctioned off at? I didn't even get to bid

Where the heck are you finding all the HG War books?
-
Selling two of my prized OA pieces, Blitzkrieg #5 cover and Our Fighting Forces #28 page by Russ Heath. (I'm buying a Action Comics #2....finally! and the only reason why I'm selling these)

Frank Reade Weekly (September 11, 1903)
These are great, the language is so redolent of the times, but is this one the earliest Paratrooper cover?
na, it looks more like a flying machine. Thanks for thinking of me though!
