  1. I assume you didn't have GPA based on what KPR and I have mentioned this book goes for? Did Bosco say this was GPA or his price? Maybe I should be on the look out for ultra high grade Predator books - are high grade copies hard to find? For what its worth - I can't find a high grade let alone graded copies on the market right now.
  2. So when it came back a 9.4 he let you know and asked to see if you wanted it for $120 (the amount of the deposit)? You thought he should have just refunded you the $120 but you feel he talked you into taking deal? Just trying to work out how it went down.
  3. I'd say you did. I was working those boxes from the other end and got a few decent things (Ghost Rider 1 & 2, Eternals 1 variant, Astro Boy), but nothing like you found. We need pictures of the loot!
  4. Bought four books from the recent VCC and paid lightning quick. Buy from me anytime.
  5. I do the exact same thing. Monday at lunch I watch the latest Game of Thrones episode and I watch Preacher Monday evening when I get home. I look at them as entirely different types of fun. GOT is obviously way more enjoyable but Preacher still has been a fun show so far.
  6. With all the books being redone is there much benefit to paying the $10 expedited fee? Or are they still getting moderns back in a month if you go the fast route?
  7. That is an awesome book, to be sure. When we were getting them signed, Cooper said, "You know why I'll always love Stan Lee? Because he gave me a six-pack!" (not referring to a six of beer, BTW) Anyone interested in copies of MP 50 s/s Alice Cooper, shoot me a PM. My books are due back shortly. Did Stan have anything to do with that book? Just curious - maybe Stan had his hand in all Marvel books back then.
  8. I got back a 9.4 on a copy which looked very similar
  9. Wow - those reds on the cover pop! 5.5/6.0
  10. Finally finished it at lunch and I really enjoyed it. Definetely not the deepest movie but it was a fun flick which didn't take itself too serious. Solid B in my book (I think I gave BvsS a C+ and Cap 3 a B).
  11. Great point. Always thought of eliminating clutter and download times but it's probably better to just put the scans in spoilers.
  12. Pony tail or 'man bun'! Actually, that's not entirely true. They only cry when they need something (uncomfortable) or are hungry. Depending on how you nurse them and how you train them to sleep through the night, they can generally be sleeping right through after a few months. Once they are on solid foods they'll sleep like the dead for a full night. Its the bolded part that kills ya. The first couple months are crappy in terms of sleep for almost every baby.
  13. I could only find these in the boxes - but a couple look like gradable copies.
  14. And here I've been giving the Much Fun variant away when I get one in - time to hit up the long boxes to see if I still have a couple.
  15. Love this thread - I've not seen the X-Men movie and this thread keyed me into looking for X-Men 221. Everyone had it jacked up to $40-$50 at the Con today except the one guy who actually pulled out guide to price it. Guide had it at $8 so I got it for $8.
  16. He's been here for 4.5 years and as far as I know hasn't ripped anyone off, has he? That's not me making excuse for his past, but at what point does a person start to get benefit of the doubt again? I know some people don't like his style of posting, but hey that's most of the chat forum for some people. Has Chip done anything fraudulent to anyone here since he's arrived? Money management is not a genetic trait and if their parents don't teach it, many are not taught it until they fall a few times. That was the case for me. He made it look easy to find gold on Craigslist so I wasted a bunch of hours looking and I blame it on Chip. Theft of my time is his charge.
  17. Krighton I am absolutely not trying to be a , but you MUST have 100 copies of this book, because if there is an Outcast post, you've made it. So spill the beans, what are you sitting on? I have 4 9.8, 3 CGC and 1 the other guys. Jay Everybody on these boards was informed about this being a Kirkman TV show even before the book came out. Many people missed anyway In spite of this, it is truly a hot book. It has seen a $40 increase in the last month for a CGC 9.8 and a NM+ has roughly doubled in the same time period. Season 2 is already assured before Season 1 even airs. That just doesn't happen as a rule. Everybody is waiting on the next Saga in terms of resale values and it seems this could be that book...or not...maybe its the next Bedlam but Kirkman with this 3rd hit TV show seems like a safe bet. When they first announced this show I actually sold mine for $50.00. Didn't know the book went down in value. No idea how you got $50 for one they've been selling for $20 since the announcement Great question. I don't think I got $50 for the CGC 9.6 I got back.
  18. Just finished and I feel kind of eh about it. It kind of felt forced rather then telling a tale like Outcast. It was only the first episode but I'm hoping they get better quickly.
  19. The last time you championed a book, it was Doctor Light II. Don't get too excited there, hoss. no really I laughed out loud. I 100% I do not have the best track record on picking up and coming books.
