  1. The movie didn't hit it out of the park didn't help BB28. The book still doing well if you bought 5 years+ ago. You can practically say that about any Marvel or DC key. You would be doing very well had you bought then. But if in the past 2-3 years, then not good if trying to sell.
  2. Certainly has for me in a big way. When I decided to pickup some early ASM keys, I would always ignore issue #2. Nothing about the Vulture "excites" me including his old age. But now times have changed and thought to myself that if I did not include #2, my collection wouldn't be complete
  3. Thanks! I believe there is one at the current Heritage Sunday auction and I'm sure a few others at other online sites. Good luck with the hunt!
  4. My copy is in a 1st generation old school holder where many thought that those were the days where the graders were stricter. It's all relative I guess.
  5. Well, it's no secret that B&B 28 has been declining in price for the past year now ever since it's spike 2 or so years ago. The results didn't surprise me at all. Looks for DC keys, all the momentum is on SC #22 right now after the CL sales.
  6. Don't worry folks about losing in auction, I'm sure we will see more copies coming out for sale. If I was a seller and wanted to unload, now would be a good time to.
  7. Such a beautiful 9.0 copy! Certainly puts my 9.0 to shame
  8. So with this new sale price on a 6.5 copy, does the $25k asking price for the 8.0 make sens?
  9. Me too. It's AF 15 at the top of the mountain and the rest way below the mountain practically
  10. I'm sure when we see record prices being had here and there, more copies will be up for sale and thus will have more data points
  11. It doesn't matter whether it records a higher price or not because when recorded to GPA, the seller or auction house remains anonymous anyways. It doesn't say so and so seller/auction house sold this book for this much on this date. Its only the grade, the figure, and the date.
  12. It seem like those who are looking to buy a copy now, may be too late as the train has already left the building in terms of paying a bargain price. This though might be similar to what happened with AF 15 2 years ago when it started creeping up in price, selling for record prices and slowly stabilizing and dipping down. Might have to wait a year or two until FF 1 stabilizes me thinks.
  13. Hey congrats on the grade!! Good for you! I'm sure you're jumping for joy after knowing what it graded out.
  14. I remembered when I paid $1600 for a cgc 1.8 copy back then and bought the Crippen copy for roughly $4500. Those were the days
  15. I wouldn't be surprised at all. I would also put other SA keys like Hulk 1, X-Men 1, TOS 39, JIM 83, Spidey 1 up there too
  16. ^ What he said. Nice looking copy for the grade.
