    Agreed and also that would make more nationwide dealers to come and setup. With the positive word of mouth from other dealers who have been selling at this show, I definitely would like to see that happen if of course possible. See you next year!

    Yeah not a fair fight at all due to the rat chew. Bats 1 will outsell Cap 1. Will be a delight to watch though .

    I have one in the same grade with a little lower page quality. I guess I haven't been keeping up with the prices because on my sheet I have it listed at a value of $3,500. So someone educate me.... is this roughly the new price level or is this sale some kind of outlier? I think it's safe to say that it is or at least close to it as being the new price level. A 3.5 is definitely worth more than $3500 though just by looking at past sales for practically every lower-mid grades. Last sale for a 3.0 was around $5000+. I think 3.5's should be a minimum $5500+ depending on eye appeal.

    See you guys tomorrow. I'll be bringing some books for sale as well and will likely be at my dealer friend's booth (FVF Comics/Brad). Still gotta ask him, but he should be fine with it. I'll be bringing an ASM #1 CGC 4.0, Showcase #4 CGC 3.0, X-Men #1 CGC 8.0, and a Tec #187 CGC 5.5.

    I'll be joining you Geeks at this convention. Last year was just filled with people, sometimes hard to walk and get by. A lot of fun and one of the few conventions I am looking forward to.

    The voldy 8.0 in tonight's CL auction ended at close to $20k Makes me smile and to think I was trying to sell my CGC 8.0 copy for less a month or so ago...

    Yep, definitely seems like a correction in price with the current pullback. There have been a lot of copies for sale everywhere and in every auction so buyers can do a wait and see if anything to try and buy at a price they want to pay without going over their budget.

    Good eye on the Tec 38 Peter. Interesting to know about the possibility of any brittleness exposed when removing glue and such. Didn't know that at all. Maybe somewhere down the line IGB will eventually fully restore the book to high grade.

    Speaking of Action 1, has anyone seen the Action 1 voldy high grade on Comicconnect? IGB work I presume? I was surprised to see a Tec 38 lower grade unrestored on the bay being sold by them too. Thought they work on every book to make em high grade.

    Not sure what to make of it either, but IH 181 has always been a hot book. Boardies have been saying it for years to pickup a copy asap before prices skyrocket as we see it today. It's probably THE bronze age book to own, so not too surprised about where it sells now.
