  1. Everyone trying to cash in on pre-robin tecs to sell. Can't blame them since prices have been doing very well. Who knows about what will happen later.
  2. I went straight to proxibid and went to the auction itself and I just started scrolling back to the lots that sold. You should be able to see the final hammer price.
  3. I think winning bidder was onsite so I am not sure if the 20% buyer's premium applies? I was high bidder online at the Weiss website. I should've raised my max bid before it went to auctionzip. Oh well. Onto CC.
  4. I think both are great options to sell comics. With C-Link you can either put them up for auction in their next features or focused auction or put a buy it now price on the exchange. They take 10% as their cut for the buyer's premium. With ebay, it's the same concept but they take 10% on the sale and roughly about 3% from Paypal. Also, sometimes you get those buyers who do not pay at all after they win the lot, so it can be a headache. Having a good feedback rating as a seller helps out too!
  5. No record breaking AF15 sales as of late so he has absolutely nothing to say. I guess all he cares about is the monetary value and not the love for the hobby
  6. Now that's a Batman 66 with that Boner should say Dark Knight butt hurt You are absolutely right woowoo
  7. Did anyone ask why SC22 had to change his user name so frequently in the first place? I really don't see the point in having a new name every few months or so. Trying to be secretive about something? Just confuses everybody.. Well not really because we still know who it really is I've had my user ID since I got on here back 2004. Just unusual behavior to be switching names unless of course the boardie was banned for something and wants to come back on to cause havoc. BTW, why did SC22 stop posting in the first place? Did he get banned from using the boards or just butt hurt from comments made by other boardies?
  8. Staining can be acceptable even up to as high as an 8.0 depending on the size. Had a book that was graded as an 8.0 with a circular small drop of stain on the spine area of the cover.
  9. at least I got the C-1 right haha. Looks nicer than a 6.0 to tell you honestly
  10. Well it is quite obvious that sale prices of this book has dipped down since last summer.
  11. It's been 7 years already!? . Thought it was just 4 years ago. Well unless the specifications for gun safes have changed than it may not apply in this situation but it did happen.
  12. Yep there's a thread on here where someone posted an Incredible Hulk 181 with both staples rusted completely, which migrated towards the interior pages as well to the back cover. I'd be very careful about storing comics in a fireproof safe. I don't know all the details about it, but definitely do you research and/or ask the manufacturer about it.
  13. The only books I know will auction are of course the Tec 27 CGC 5.0, Action 7 CGC 4.0, and a Captain America Comics #3 CGC 7.0
  14. If you are a Collector's Society member which i think you are since you can track submissions, then yes you will be able to see the grade of the book under "my submissions" as well as whether the book is unrestored/restored and what exactly they found on the book. You should get all the info after the book has shipped.
  15. Winner of the book has just 3 feedback. Doubt buyer will pay.
  16. Yep, I addressed that resto and glad seller put the pictures up for auction because i suspected some resto work and possibly a piece fill in that area too. Not sure why bidding is high.
