  1. Yep saw it too at the last episode. I'm pretty sure the comic influenced him making his death cards exactly to the tee. Can't wait to see who their #1 suspect is between Sullivan or Kane... Or could be someone else not mentioned.
  2. Years back MC 1 in any grade was just underpriced compared to the other major GA keys. Not sure why that was the case, but things have turned around 360.
  3. Got outbidded on 4 GA keys argh!? Oh well more $ for me to keep.
  4. The CC 4.5 copy sold for around $13,700.
  5. Will be fun to watch. Just amazed at how prices have been for the GA keys. Got outbidded in a lot of the lots.
  6. Well now.. The ASM #1 CGC 3.5 that ended at CC tonight sold for $6100
  7. You call that very small amount of ct!? I wonder if CGC simply made a mistake on labeling it that way. I've received books with also the same notation on the label and it ended up being just a small portion of the book, which was indicative of the notes on the label.
  8. Not one but two Bats 1!?! Beautiful set. Congrats!
  9. I'm sad the Dodgers lost .. Maybe next season.
  10. I bet. I read somewhere about that as well. I think there was even a point in time where marvel 1 was the most valuable comic.
  11. Every SA key book seems way undervalued compared to AF 15. Yes there either seems a lot of catching up to do with those keys or AF 15 just exploded up in price way too fast. I truly believe it's the latter. Most of us who have been dealing with comics for years and study trends already know that the market will always have a pull back in price when the value of a book just astronomically goes up. Everyone here has been told it will happen and certainly it did. There are of course those who were in denial and only think it can only go up from there. To each his own.
  12. Time have changed. Years back, I would see more people wanting an Action 1 more than a Tec 27. Now it seems to be the opposite.
  13. Oh and one more thing, as we draw closer to Christmas, this is the time of year I try to prevent shipping anything as much as possible
  14. Well, it's certainly impossible to have these shipping companies to be 100% free of any damage of some sort. Every one of them has had numerous packages go missing, damaged, delivered to the wrong place, etc. Chances are, there is a high enough % that your package will arrive safely to the recipient if packaged properly of course. But anyways, I have been using the USPS the most and 99% of the time, everything went well. There was just that one incident I had years ago where the substitute USPS delivery person must've either delivered a package of mine to the wrong place and or it really went lost somewhere. Tracking showed it was delivered, but here was the kicker, the seller did not do signature confirmation on it!?! I was pissed especially on something of this magnitude. Pretty bad because it had about $10k worth of golden age books in them.. Gladly I got my $ back from the seller. Made a post of this way back then. Fed-Ex Ive used a few times and they have the best tracking system. I sent high dollar books through them and no problems at all. UPS I've sent a few cheaper items, again no problems either for me.
  15. Paying $12k for a label that has 9.9 on it and a super common warehouse book is just...
  16. Seems to be a great deal. An 8.0 trimmed sold for a little more than $10k this year.
