Yes there was a thread regarding a lawsuit between CGC/CCS and IGP Corp in which Mark Zaid was handling. I dunno what happened to the thread if it had been yanked out or its latest status.

Thanks Peter! I'm sure that will be a strikingly beautiful copy, but am looking for unrestored 1.5-4.0 copies at the moment

I forgot how that Tec 31 1.0 copy looked that sold for $26k last year. I remembered I had a conversation about it in this thread and predicted the one copy that sold for $44k this year. I think the one that sold for $26k has brittle pages hence the price. The $44k copy had supple pages, so different results. I believe another low graded Tec 31 from last year also sold in around the $40k range, forgot if it was a 1.0 or 1.5. But in terms of the Tec 33, we'll see how it goes when the next copy goes up for sale to see if current prices are sustainable. And if it does, I'm in a very deep hole Out of Tec 29, 31, 33, and 35 I have seen more Tec 33's than any of the other copies since I've started following/collecting pre robin Tec books. It's the most common out of the four. Im sure we will be seeing more copies for sale next year.

And that concerns me about how high this latest 1.5 copy jumped that much in value... I think I'll wait it out. The 1.5 visually was not an attractive copy as well at least in my eyes, it was decent, but not strong eye appeal as the covers were tanning, had those streaks of vertical creasing that breaks color, and the rectangular piece off cover. The other 1.5 that sold off of HA last year was a more attractive copy.

Was looking at that copy and asked a bunch of questions. Wasn't too comfortable buying the book by looking at his past feedbacks (video games, video game consoles, fitbit, etc.). No history of him selling any comics at all. Also asked for any references from any major dealers or collectors, he ignored that part of my question. Book sold for $20k from what he messaged me and mentioned it came from a dealer. All I know. Still looking for a copy

Had this problem a couple of times with USPS where the tracking says it arrived in my city, then it would go to another state, then to another, then back to my city. It will definitely take some time, but my packages got to me safe and sound. When this happens, I think the package was placed in the wrong shipping zone bin. Stay positive.

I'm pretty much spot on for the most part if/when color touch scraping was applied on a book. Having seen it first hand and owned books in the past with it. Yes the photos couldn't be enlarged. Luckily with my laptop, I am able to magnify images closely on my touch screen. In my opinion, the book once had small amount of color touch on the cover that was scraped off.

Not 100% sure if it was done, but I didn't like the color touch removal marks at the top of the book. Just a turn off for me.

What of someone out there has the very same copy the Zodiac killer had back then and then had it slabbed by CGC. Will they label it as being the Zodiac killer copy? Wonder what something like that would sell for.

The $95k buy price doesn't seem so bad now after the 1.5 sale. I think if the 1.5 looked better and with no tape, it could fetch $80k+
