My delivery drivers have been fantastic whether it be Fed-Ex, USPS, and UPS. Never really had a problem with any for the past 5 years or so. I did have one instance a long time ago with USPS where it said on tracking that the package was delivered to my home, but it never showed up because I was home all day. To make the long story short, I talked to the USPS postal master and she just told me to file a claim because it seemed the package was lost or possibly delivered to the wrong address. I did get my $ back from the person I bought it from because he didn't insure it , but boy those were some rare and high end GA books that didn't make it to me . I was also told that my regular USPS driver was not on duty that day and it was a temporary/substitute driver. Ugh what luck!? But anyways, the only complaint I have with USPS is that when it comes to any package that would need a signature to claim it, the driver would just sign for themselves and leave it on my porch or door. Pretty much anyone can come to my door and steal my package. This was in effect when covid first started. I really hope they revert back to having the recipient sign for the packages again or even leave a doortag to pickup at my local PO. With Fed-Ex, my local driver would always doorbell and wait for someone to sign for it. I guess it's different experiences for everyone, but it is not all bad when it comes to Fed-Ex, at least with me. I believe Heritage, CC, and CL are all using Fed-Ex to ship my winning books. I don't really have a choice to use what I want.

It seems like Mantle rookies are still selling pretty strong! I wish I kept my PSA 1, but sold it 3-4 years ago :(. Jordan rookies seem to have stabilized in price across all grades it seems after a huge drop in value this year. With regards to comics, it would be interesting to see where it goes later this year and onto next year.

Some more key silver age books ended on Heritage and on Ebay (Sparklecity) that sold for practically weak prices, perhaps due to the long 4th of July holiday. I dunno why anyone would list their auctions and end it on this day, such a bad idea...

I agree. Those 2 books suffered the most in terms of a drop in price for mega key silver age books in practically all grades. The FF 1 8.5 copy sold for what 100k less than the previous two 8.5's that sold recently. Ouch!

Strong eye appeal = higher sale price. This book looks better than the 3.0 in my opinion.

Wrong section

CVA > QES.. At least with CVA, if it doesn't meet their eye appeal criteria, the book won't be getting a sticker.

I know that Age of Comics sold a Flash #1 4.5 copy for $120k this year at Wondercon. That was a steal! I should've jumped on it lol.

With some haggling and best offer going on, bump that bad boy down to a shiny nickel 😉 and the book would probably be close to near mint condition for 10c

I thought about that too, but if it were based on say improper storage conditions, I would think a larger part of the book would be affected and not just that area.
