  1. I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. This sounds like deception to me and as @KCOComics mentioned several sellers are known for this. Have you tried 130point.com or watchcount.com to see if the listing is still on there?
  2. I might be misremembering but I think there was an SS copy of an Iron Man book with a huge tape pull on the FC in a 9.8 slab.
  3. Agree. I also think for younger PCH collectors like myself the biggest books are mostly outside of EC e.g. CDNP 24, FAC 20, Punch 12, BCM 50, CoC 19
  4. I was thinking the same thing. Look at the Graded U.S Jones 2 on HA this week. Price is already sky high and probably going much higher.
  5. Looks spectacular for the grade! Awesome pickup!!!
  6. I can't recommend anyone else more highly. I'm constantly floored by the quality of his work. He's worked wonders on multiple books for me. He's also very honest and an all round great guy. 10/10!
  7. Love Hillman's. Clue #2v2 has to be one of the best crime torture bondage covers up there with FAC 20 and CDNP 24.
  8. I've always loved this one and it was harder to find than I would like!
  9. What do people think of this price? The Eerie 1 is currently sitting at 75k (with BP) that's an all time public sale record for this book. Is it an outlier because of the ped and grade? Or has the market shifted (similar to what happened with Mask 1 and 2 in the last couple of years). I guess we'll need more sales to find out? It has been a book I thought was undervalued compared to the rest of the PCH market for a while.
  10. Amazing list. Given that Mad had such an impact on satire and comedy in general I would think either Kurtzman or Gaines copies of Mad 1 should make the list.
  11. A stand up boardie. A real pleasure to swap funny books with. Highly recommended.
  12. I avoid giving dealers advice about prices as it can sometimes be taken as condescending and dealers generally know what fair market value is. I just make my offer and hope we can reach a compromise that we are both happy with. TOD 10 also has some heat so, as others have said, averaging 2020 prices is not the best way to price the book. Best of luck!
  13. Ended the year with a cool some cool Harvey horror art. A complete four page story from Witches Tales #4 "the Bells of Doom". I believe the artist is Rudy Palais:
  14. I've had books get 9.8 with very small amounts of overspray. But most have come back at 9.4/9.6.
  15. I was thinking 0.5. For a comp here is my book with a large fc tear (which is smaller than the IH181 here and less noticeable).
  16. I think with the spine scrape and dust shadow on the BC I'd put it at an 8.0 too. Is it a River City copy?
