  1. yep, that's the one I got when I went to see the first hulk film.
  2. Oh and Metarog, I was also looking at your list for Marvel discount books, and the Hulk #55 pictured isn't the actual discount issue. I have one that has a $.25 price in a circle like the X-Men issues.
  3. Awesome list! I totally forgot I had the X-Men 248 2nd print. And, in all my years of collecting, I don't think I've ever seen the Hulk #393 2nd print. That book came out when I was around 11 or so but I don't remember ever seeing that silver cover.
  4. Finally something actually relevant to this threads namesake!
  5. I know Spider-Man 2099 #1 had a 2nd print. Though I think it came in a toy package so it might not count.
  6. Gotham City Sirens is starting to get a lot more fire lately. Sales are all over the place but the books are just flying off of ebay. I wish I would have stuck with it for the whole run and cashed in down the road.
  7. I sold the same set last week for $99 shipped. Mine were all strict 9.4-9.8. #6 was just a 9.4.
  8. Came across this drek in the $1 bins yesterday. Guy had a whole long box of TMNT books all for $1. This is all I got as it was kind of obscure looking. I'll get more next time.
  9. Awesome artwork there. I really want to start buying old Nintendo games in box.
  10. Just scooped these today for $1 a piece. The NM #87, X-force #1, and X-Factor #71. All 2nd print golds. Oh, and the X-Factor is a Newsstand to boot.
  11. My copper/modern flea market $1 bin drek haul today. These guys are selling off all their comics, mostly all for $1. They have around 40,000+ books. There is so much to see! You might skip by something that is $$$ and not know it. There is only so many covers I can keep in my memory banks. Anyhow, here it is. Nothing mindblowing I don't think.
  12. Jimmy, totally agree 100% hate this show and one of the biggest reasons is the laugh track. The other reason is because the humor is written by troglodytes trying to sound intelligent. Lastly, because its just not funny.... I loathe the show. Ha, best word ever.
  13. I just sold an Annihilation: Conquest mini with the prologue for $100. I did give free shipping but with the use of the regional rate box a, it was only $5.84. He lived close to me finally so I could try one of those boxes.
  14. Wow, that just brings me back like no other. woo-ooo
  15. One sold on ebay two weeks ago for 71 dollars. There is more than 1 out there. I don't see it. I've been selling a few raw sets for $80-100, so that's crazy that a graded one went for $71 in the middle of that. Seller of that was a boardie, though I forget who. He had it listed way higher for awhile, but no bites. I would have held out on getting more for it than $71.
  16. I tried out Planetside 2 all last night and I must say that for a free MMO it is quite monumental. That is it's downfall as well in my book. I didn't know where anybody was half the time, and when I did find the big battles, there was just way too many players running around like headless chickens. An enemy can be standing right next to you and you won't even know it. The upgrades on weapons etc. is impressive, as is the maps themselves. The controls need some work though. For instance, you can't lay in a prone position-a much needed stance for controlled firing and cover from hails of bullets. Anyone else try this game yet, and what are your thoughts???
  17. Whomever drew that should never be allowed to draw women. ditto to that!! Yikes
  18. I have not used them either. Short boxes are the way to go. Way easier to lift and carry around. I only have like 4 long boxes, but about 45 short boxes.
  19. I wanted to get to this show since it's right in my backyard. Alas, I will not be making it. I never get to shows
  20. That reprint is not very prevalent from what I know. I do know it sells for much more than the regular 1st print cover. It is definitely a condition sensitive book in terms of its selling price. Copies like that are probably much more common-a 9.8 not so much.
  21. On a different topic, I have a question for classic NES players/collectors. I recently found my old stash of Nintendo powers mags, guides etc. I remember owning a classic Metroid walkthrough/strategy guide that had maps for all the levels, and was thick like current guides. I did not find it in my old stash and looking back, I think me and my friends probably thrashed it completing the game over a month period back in the 80's. I can't find any specimens anywhere online after a thorough search using multiple keywords. In fact, I can't even find evidence that anyone knows it even existed. Anyone here have any info, or own a copy for that matter?? I'm bummed mine went the way of the dinosaur.
  22. I'm going to start using the E.Gerber Full-Backs from now on I think.
  23. I don't understand why anyone would throw away art like that, used or unused for the game. Seems to me to be an important part of history to archive. Their loss, your gain I guess.
