  1. Yeah, I wish I could make a haul like that right now.
  2. Never got around to any of the Bioshock games unfortunately. Not that I didn't want to, just never got around to buying any before changing PC's which wouldn't play them I don't think. Hopefully they'll release a boxed bundle version somtime and I'll get it then.
  3. I think just by going on past trends of TV related books, Grimm just came out and might do well for the short term. I'm sure the show has a cultish following that might not know the comic exists yet. Buy now for a discount and sell maybe for $10 in a week or two if they dry up-regular cvrs. that is. X-Files is also dropping in about a month. I preordered some, and am hoping it draws out older, hard core fans, that have to have it. Who knows though, only the market decides these things.
  4. Done! Found one today in the wild... WTF!!!! Looks to be in nice shape. Was that a $1 bin find?? Please say it wasn't or I might go crazy.
  5. Interesting little tidbit there. I wonder if there was an actual preview of RR somewhere before the 1st ish dropped
  6. Games load from the top like old Atari's and SNES etc. Linky
  7. Update: Starting price drop secured 1st bid. Now lets see if I can get a half way decent price for it.
  8. I did drop the start price another $20. Again, if it goes unsold I'll just have one more 9.8 to send to CGC.
  9. that just my way of saying it is an easy 9.6 with almost no doubt on a 9.8. If I sent this book to CGC, I would have no problem expecting a 9.8. Just using the 9.75 to cover my just in case.
  10. Looking to get a NES toploader sometime in the future. I hear they almost always play the games without all the mubo-jumbo of the reggie versions.
  11. ughhhhh, WTF. My only double cover isn't even a find!
  12. Everytime I used to start auctions low, I would get one bid and leave a bunch of $$$ on the table. After ebay started the whole 50 free auctions a month with any start price, I started listing auctions at the least I would take. Basically a BIN in auction format. Maybe I'll try and drop the $ down another $20, but I'm very wary of doing so.
  13. I should have known I didn't have a rarity
  14. No reserve. Auction w/BIN. I have it at what I think is a reasonable price. $59.99 start price w/ a BIN of $79.99 w/ free Priority ship. I have stated it as flat rate priority envelope with 4 thick cardboard inserts, and bubble wrap to ship it. It will be secure for sure. I have tried before with a lower start price, and free box shipping with no bites. The book is cherry. As a matter of fact: Auction
  15. The book I believe had 2 different regular covers not counting variants. So this copy got both the A and B covers.
  16. I'm at about 9,000 comics, maybe 75 TPB/HC's, and about 500+ misc SW/GI Joe/Transformers etc. action figures, about 98% of which are all still MISB. I have no more room for sure. I definitely want a showcase room some day to display my stuff properly.
  17. I've tried to sell a raw Batman #1 9.8 about 5 times and no luck. This is the last time, and if it goes unsold again I'l just submit it with other 2 9.8 copies I have. I just can't seem to figure out why my auctions go unsold next to some of the others.
  18. It is two different covers, right? 2 covers all the way. Did you check the pics???
  19. Maybe. I think CGC grades the book based on both covers right???. If I could diminish a couple of the ticks on the outer cover I might get a 9.6. I still have never had a book pressed so maybe it wouldn't happen in the end.
  20. Not going to sell. Would probably have it pressed though before grading. Outer cover is a 9.4ish. Inner cover looks to be 9.6 or better maybe without totally cracking them open all the way. I was totally shocked when I discovered it!
  21. Now THAT we need to see a picture of. Sure, coming soon...
  22. In all my years of collecting, I've only ever found a double cover once. It is a giant sized Hulk from the Red Hulk series. I didn't even know it was a double until years later when I pulled it out of the bag for some reason. It not only is a double cover, but has 2 different covers to boot.
