  1. Looks like even with the solicitation describing the 1st app., and the character front and center on the cover, that Avengers Forever 6 is popping.  This whole run has several $10+ issues and it is still under the radar it seems?  Sales are $8-15 with asking prices already hitting $25.

  2. Finally I have multiple copies of a wow price modern in Spider-Verse 6.  Unfortunately, 2 of the copies have edge bends that don't break color, but will need much work to correct.  I will have to press 2-3 times with steam and ball bearing in between to try and get them gone.  I have had luck with similar flaws on some books, and others I fail miserably at.  Funny how the Marvel cover stock that is akin to rice paper is so hard to press certain flaws out of.  They are still 9.4ish as they stand.

Looked like a foxing spot to me so I only dropped it down a tad to a 9.2 but I was thinking 9.0 / 9.2 all day.

Looked like foxing to me as well.  Without some kind of notes on the books you can't know what something is, or isn't, just by the scans.  Just like the last book, the X-Men 283. That hole just looks like a ink blemish/mfg flaw IMO.

Round 2 hosed me a bit.

  4. I have 1 copy each of that Friendly Spider-Man 6-7 9.6+.  Thought I had some dupes of that series, but no go on those issues.  For some reason I have 5 copies of issue 8.  I would have bought these day of release, or soon after, and know I've never bought those books afterward from backissue/discount bins. Have no idea why I would have bought 5 of issue 8?!?    :tonofbricks:

I will probably just list them raw but ebay already seems to be flooded.  Hard to make your copies stand out from the crowd unless you list them way under the other asking prices.  I'm sure the book will tank very quick as others have said, the Sony-Verse is fair at best.

The only time I had a guy request to pay me 'in a week', I said ok ... I must've been in a really good mood. He was true to his word and paid after a week. Not the ideal buyer, but I got my money in the end.

As far as cancelling my account, Ebay did that for me (kinda). When they went to Managed Payments I never gave them my bank numbers so they took all my listings down and I'm not allowed to sell there anymore.

Update on the auction.  I cancelled the order, blocked the clown as I hope everyone else here that sees his username does, and send 2nd chance offers to the two other bidders.  An hour later the the next bidder down at $22 even paid for the lot.  He should have been the winner to begin with, sheesh.  No reason to wait 10 days for someone to pay for a $22.50 lot with shipping.

Bid on and won an auction of some Spawn issues that were all less than average. 7.0-8.0 reader lot of some pretty good issues in the late 200's and early 300's. 8 books in total.  Auction ended on Sat. 9th for $22.50 and he doesn't pay. Sunday goes by and still nothing so I send a invoice reminder Monday 11th.  Still nothing.  Then Tuesday 12th he messages me and says he will "hopefully be paying by the 18th" and thank you for my patience blah blah blah.  So this guys bids up an auction, that ends at $22.50 + shipping and can't pay for 10 days?  I messaged him back and told him it sound like he shouldn't be bidding on comics if he can't pay, especially a low dollar amount like this.  I say 5 days is patient enough and you have until tomorrow the 14th to pay or I will cancel.  This person waited 3 days to tell me this, not before he bid mind you and he has only 20 feedback.  So he is a flake new buyer who thinks we are Walmart and this is a layaway plan.

His response to me was very swift wherein he told me "Sounds like I shouldnt purchase comics? Your right, I shouldnt purchase your comics lol u obviously need the money asap get it somewhere else cancel the order, have a great day".

This person flips the -script and is now making me the bad guy, and he is the victim I suppose.  I have no patience for these types of people anymore.  Block this goon as he is going to be trouble moving forward I can feel it.

  7. I have 6 of each cover pre-ordered.  Wouldn't spec too hard on this as remember that Image did a whole run of Frazetta Death Dealer and other one-shots based upon his famous paintings back in 2007+.  And then there is the OG Verotik run.  I am looking forward to the series nontheless.

  8. This was a super underordered mini series when it came out, hence the high prices tags on complete sets especially.  You could probably visit 10 LCS's in a certain radius around where you live and never find a single issue of the series.  I never see them here in Orlando.

Yes I go to multiple sales in one day or over 2-3 days.. check what I passed to my friend on Friday in the "post your flea finds" thread

Umm, how do people find this kind of collections for $1 a book!?!  All those books are $5-100+.  I have never had any type of buying experience like that in all my years.
