  1. Tomb of Horrors was wicked cool. White Plume Mountain was awesome too. Descent into the Depths of the Earth was cool (3 modules) and there was another one that kind of interfaced with Gamma World where your D&D characters run into a giant crashed spaceship...can't remember the name of that one, but it had a red cover. EXPEDITION TO THE BARRIER PEAKS (thumbs u
  2. That is awesome!!! I still the envelope TSR sent me when I did some freelance work for them. I have to pull that out and scan it! Ah, the WORLD OF GREYHAWK...
  3. Do double covers of common modern books demand a premium, and if so, are they worth getting graded if you intend to sell? I picked up a random later issue of FATHOM with a double cover and I'm considering getting it graded if it will get me some more $$$. Thanks.
  4. I kept my first one too! (thumbs u Problem is we just moved and I have no idea where it's stored... Same character sheet too!
  5. I think the campy WF covers are awesome. I'm glad fewer people want them and the prices are lower. I might pick some up!
  6. I decided to put everything in the same place over in the Mixed Age Threads and Misc. area. I'll get some images up after work. For now, I've got a partial list of the books available for sale. Thanks for looking! (thumbs u
  7. Fun-looking! You should read ERIC POWELL's CHIMICHANGA - same kind of setting and vibe.
  8. OK, I've decided to further purge what's left of my collection. Mostly semi-keys, keys, and/or higher grade commons (8.0 and higher). There will be some other cheap random items my girlfriend no longer wants a well (ie) INKY & DINKY, DIE SPINNER, POWERPUFF GIRLS, etc... These books are just sitting there in a closet... Either undercopies, or I have no more interest in them so I'd rather have some $$$ in the bank and/or get that FF #1 I've been chasing after!
  9. I don't think anyone is affiliated with him... The stores are no longer franchises as pointed out earlier in the thread. In fact I don't even think Ross is legally attached to the name 1,000,000 Comix anymore if I understand correctly....
  10. Pay special attention at around 4:11... Made me laugh....
  11. I think he was. I was selling comics locally the last decade, and his name was nothing more than a modern day Boogie-Man equivalent, and then *poof* he suddenly re-appeared about 3 years ago. I'm guessing a new generation is ready to be duped... Lots of my younger friends and customers don't know who he is and do shop at his booth at his cons... Buyer beware folks.
  12. Wait. Seriously? I'm picturing a random "John Byrne" set up at a table in his shop with a bunch of real John Byrne comics around him, and a line forming for the random guy to put his signature on the comic-guy's books. Is this really what you're saying?? Yep. I've heard this story from numerous local sources...
  13. No need - I've sold them all!!!! I do however have some raw WALKING DEAD issues for sale over in the Copper/Modern Age forum.
  14. Fun stuff, buy you should really save up those quarters and buy some of those books you keep saying you cannot afford. Opportunity cost my friend! Seriously though. that's what I'm doing now. No more odds and ends. I'm saving my dough for more expensive (relative term) items. You should consider that too. The cheapies will pretty much always be there! I'll come for a visit soon if you sell me that DD 1 for a price I can afford... Still looking for one, huh? Well, I might make one available for sale in the near future...
  15. What a stroke of luck! Congrats on getting some holiday magic working bro Thanks and it was from CRAIGSLIST of all places. I just got lucky and answered the ad first.

  17. Here is some junk I picked up last week... I bought them from a local chap who said he's had them for 15 years since his grandfather passed away. I'm sooo skeptical, so I'm praying there's no resto. It was just odd to find these 2 among a small pile of random "garbage" SA books. Then again, the DD#1 wasn't even bagged and boarded, so he probably didn't realize they had any value until now. Please take a moment to grade these books. Thanks!
  18. I might be putting my last longbox of "inventory" up for sale here first. Most of it is low to mid grade SA and mid to high grade BA with some CA and MA mixed in. I think I'll start 2 different threads if I get around to selling them. One in GA/SA and one in MIXED AGES. Mostly MARVEL, with a pile of X-MEN. Plenty of these books have been bought from boardies during the last few years. Some were for "inventory" and some were for myself, but I've decided to purge the keeper box once again. I'll keep you posted.
  19. Junk! All that just to show off an IF #14? It's like playing where's SABRETOOTH? Congrats!
