  1. Not sure. Ive managed to log 6 cards in an hour. Practically unusable.
  2. Literally takes over 15 minutes to enter one card the UI is so slow 😂
  3. That's what I'm saying. I'll change my plans however I have to to keep money flowing by using them. Sure would be wonderful if they would everyone know something. Makes it very, very difficult to know how to adapt when they don't offer any info as to what's going on. Elevated blood pressure is about all I'm getting from them at this point.
  4. Really wish there was a time frame of when they might move past that week. At the rate it's going I'll have to upgrade a tier just to compensate for how long it took to be opened. I figured a month which would've worked perfectly but it's beginning to look like it might be 2 or more if they're still on the week of the 15th.
  5. For sure, Japanese cards are way better in terms of everything. Just rage inducing that every hit looks like dog mess. Not just pokemon. Panini is awful too. Pulled Anthony Edwards rookie, OC as hell. Pulled a few full art trainers from Hidden Fates, and Leafeons. Some are OC to one side, one is diagonal. Cards have never always had perfect centering but some either have like a 1/16 inch border or part of another card on it. Looking like E-reader cards without the barcode 😂
  6. I prefer the look, but as far as I can tell no one really seems to care on the secondary market. I can sell a card with subs and a card without and they get the same price. Unless it's an expensive card worth $3-400+ I wouldn't bother with them.
  7. I buy and rip a lot of Pokemon in addition to sports. I don't think I have pulled ANYTHING in the last 3 months that had centering worth a sh*t. Every pull from Pokemon, to Hoops, Optic, etc. I know they're probably running the printing at max but good Lord the card quality has been absolute trash. Can't even pull something worth grading it's so far OC. Have I just been really unlucky or everyone else having this issue?
  8. Interesting. I knew they all switched to GS in US. I didn't realize the EB name stuck in other places. That's cool. I might have to find one for sale just for the sake of having a card with the EB on it if the logo is different from GameStop.
  9. I didn't even think EB Games existed anymore. Haven't seen one in many years. Similar to KB Toys.
  10. I think they only allow upgrades of the entire order. Feel like I remember seeing them mention that somewhere.
  11. Undersized I'd understand, but oversized is annoying.
  12. Off topic but... Somewhat related to the incompetence part but not related to CGC in any way. Just something I experienced and found humorous. I laughed when I saw they hired "efficiency consultants" in the article. I worked for a place years ago when companies had their own transportation department. I think it's all third party now, but back then it was negotiating carrier rates, scheduling shipments/deliveries, warehouse, everything was grouped under one umbrella. On the whole, we were sending trucks out that weren't near maxed. We pitched the idea that maybe we should consolidate the shipments instead of doing something like Amazon does in present day where they send someone out daily to meet the delivery times. Like restructure deliveries, consolidate, save money on carrier not picking up so often. Higher ups like nah, nah, nah. They hired people similar to "efficiency consultants". They pretty much come in with a suit and a chart, and pitch the same ideas the employees have been throwing to managers, and the managers have been repeating to their bosses. They had an epiphany that day! What a glorious idea to not send trucks out not filled as frequently! What a wonderful idea! Always makes me wonder how the people working at places like this feel when it gets rough. I dipped out long ago for construction, couldn't deal with the politics of companies.
  13. Yes, but there is also a big difference between accidents and incompetence. I would imagine there is a warehouse manager. I'd find it hard to believe that person hasn't been like, "Yo, we're getting balls deep in packages someone do something" to someone and been completely ignored.
  14. Assuming their tiers work the same way, if you sent in at 60 days and it moves up you won't be at 60 days anymore. Every standard, express, and walkthrough that comes in is prioritized over bulk/econ. So if they start to get backlogged on standard it essentially slows the lower tiers to a crawl.
  15. Pro company only? I just want turn around times to be reasonable so I can get my stuff graded in a decent time. I sell a stupid amount of pokemon related stuff? People are sending in JUNK I did like 3 cards for my kid, but some people are sending in hundreds/thousands of trash cards. Stuff like this shouldn't even be graded. You definitely shouldn't be able to make money off of trash like this card. Vintage/high end cards, Zards, you can flip paying $20 a card because they're valuable cards. You shouldn't be able to buy a card like this Zapdos for $3 grade for $9 and sell for $30. It's a trash card.
  16. Pretty much. They're literally doing the same thing they did with the trading cards on this side even though it's a mess over there. Must be new here. They'll get you soon enough. That was the point. High dollar cards only for them at the moment. The turnaround was 30 business days in Dec and they charged a lot of us upfront in the other service. Took 85 business to complete the order. A lot of people weren't very happy. Says 80 for bulk at the moment on sports, so I'd say you're probably right at 6-8 months at least.
  17. From using both services CSG/CGC I can't tell if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing or they're intentionally getting backlogged to have guaranteed business in case the card market collapses. They should jack prices up, currently CGC Trading cards has turned into a backlogged mess show and CSG is going the same route as though they aren't in the middle of dealing with this disaster in the other department.
  18. Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me that CSG and CGC were separate. Also, they started getting backlogged on TCG and went to grading sports cards. I'm sure it was planned far before the backlog, but CSG started off the same way as CGC and now raising prices as well. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
  19. I think it should be higher since they raised the cap to $250 from $100. With Elite membership that's still only $12.75 a card. You wouldn't believe one of the graded cards I sold for $30. It was really just a space filler to get a 50 card sub and I was going to give it to my son. I ended up posting just to see if someone would buy it. If that bullsh*t sold for $30 they need to go higher on the price. No way I should make money off something like that.
  20. Bro. I have absolutely no idea what you were trying to say there.
  21. Looked like you still get the credit so membership is essentially free but you won't continue to get a 10% discount on orders.
  22. I was hoping they'd just get rid of bulk altogether and just run with economy at about $20-25. Get rid of the card limit and up the price enough to cut out low end mess. Honestly you'd be surprised how much junk you could still grade at $12.75 a pop and make money. $21.25 would be high enough to make it unprofitable.
