I'm with most. If that chipping is a production defect, then I'd say it's a 4.5. If not, I'd give it a 3.0. The 5.0 that grendelbo posted has white pages, and while it's hard to tell the spine on the 5.0 looks much stronger. But even at a 3.0, this is obviously a phenomenal book. Congrats!

I'm at a 5.0. Big contributor to it not being higher is the tearing at the staples.

Thanks LD! I appreciate it and will definitely keep an eye out. I appreciate all the commentary. For me personally I’ll say that I’m aware that it’s only $15. I acknowledge that Unknown is within its legal rights to treat me this way, and I accept it. And I’m within my legal rights to not buy from them anymore, but instead buy from people who take better care of their customers, and to also let people who love comics as much as I do to watch out sh@$&y companies like Unknown. There are too many good sellers out there to choose to support a crappy one.

I don’t think I did them a disservice at all. They’re offering a bundle discount, and they refuse to give me the discount because I pushed the wrong button. That’s awful customer service. They could do a million things - refund me $15, let me return the four books and buy the bundle, even just give me a $15 store credit. There’s absolutely no reason they couldn’t do something to get me the same deal they’re giving everyone else.

It's such a bad way to treat people. I won't buy from them again - that's for sure.

Anyone else have a terrible experience with Unknown Comics? I ordered four books for the listed price, then realized they're selling a four pack for the same books. They refused to help me out - said it's their policy. They basically screwed me out of $15. I understand it was my error, but come on. I've been in a similar situation with Frankie's, and they couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I can't imagine why Unknown would treat its customers this way?

Grade is in! The old men had it right - 9.0. I was hoping for a little higher but it certainly could’ve been lower, so I’m happy. Thanks for all the expert help! Also, I think they did a really nice job on the C&P - you can’t see the creases in the upper corner unless you know they were there.

I have this at an 8.0 after a c&p. Great book.

I'm closer to the 5.0 as-is, mostly because of the top staple. Some of the other defects (waviness and denting on the back and around the edges) could improve with the C/P though. Nice book - it'll look a lot better when you get it back.
