I was taking some photos of my books to keep my computer files up to date and found these two HG Beauties. The picture doesn't do the book justice with the bright red colors and a very glossy cover. The OFF 131 with the jet black cover and a German plane silhouetted against the moon is a Beauty and one of my many favorite BA covers.

Here's the first HT issue. That's an awesome cover and a great example of that issue you lucky bugger.

No SSWS 45, but here are a few of my recent purchases. Still no scanner!! The first OAAW book I owned and it feels good to finally have one back in my collection. This copy I won off eBay for only 12.00 Love this book!! Nothing above a 7.0, but I still love them.

That is a Beauty Blind Owl and one of my many favorite covers. I love the bright yellow colors on the black background and only recently discovered this cover during one of Shep's last selling threads or maybe someone posted it.

How come you always get PMs from mysterious board members? Andy, Just very lucky I guess and I originally sent him a PM when I first joined and he sends me the odd treat to drool over. You know me with my rambling PMs I send members I respect and enjoy. I'm surprised more people don't have me blocked.

Unbelievable books lately Gentlemen. I've got to break down and stop buying comics for one pay cycle and buy a scanner. I've had a great week so far and received 10 HG (for me that is) DC war books. I know it's not the same without seeing them and I received a Beautiful OAAW 56, 102 and 111 along with a very nice GIC 131 and a selection of NM- BA Beauties. Seeing Tat's Millie's makes me so jealous and I still don't have a single one. You Sir, have some incredible books. Also a mysterious board member has sent me a few scans that are some of the nicest books I've laid eyes on. Shep, your collection rocks and I always appreciate anything you share with us. (thumbs u

That's an interesting question I never thought of before and I have no kids and a small family. Since I'm so old I'd probably give instructions to my better half for him to send the books to one of the young war collectors on the boards if they wouldn't mind my mostly VF/NM or lower collection of war books. Either that or donate them to the Canadian Armed Forces and that way each Soldier could have one book.

Did you see his few OAAW books end and I think he graded them FN- or FN for issue 152 and 153 and I think they both ended over 55.00 each. I think our friend Andy from across the pond won a book or two. (Goldust40) Of course I had to sit on my hands and not touch my keyboard with all my comic budget spoken for this upcoming Friday.

I watched those end too and that seller, Zillaf4 is a pretty strict grader for e-bay. I was very surprised how high some of those went for and I see that our lucky friend Andy won a few nice AAMOWs. Nice work Andy.
