The copyright date being incorrect reminds me of Office Space when the guy moved the decimal place over by one. Such a "small" error. Lol. I'd almost think it was intentional. Like some sort of calling card.

After 40 years, Matt Wagner is pulling a George Lucus and redoing his original Grendel: Devil by the Deed. Dark Horse Comics is releasing the Devil by the Deed: MASTER EDITION this November. Primer 2 (Grendel's first appearance) and Grendel 1 (1983) are the grails of my collection. I will definitely consider this Master Edition (along with the original DBTD) as essentials for any Grendel fan. 

There's also the Omnibus... but that's kinda cheating.

I've exhausted my allotment of reactions for the day I guess. I was trying to stay on top of these but now I'm 3 pages behind. My reactions to post ratio may not allow me to ever catch up at this pace.

Someone actually made key rings with this cover on it. Why didn't I think of that!
