  1. Just received 4 sweet Marvel Super-Heroes and Marvel Tales from Steve. Nice books as always. (thumbs u
  2. There is one in Comics General. I'd post a link but I'm on my iPad2 right now.
  3. I've seen so many foreign (to the USA) comics in here I think we need a "This Week in my Foreign Comics Collection". Or is there one already?
  4. Thanks for the info Makmorn. Appreciated!
  5. I also picked up these 1971-1972 Mego Spider-Man and Superman figures today. Anybody know what these are worth? Both say MCMLXXI (1971) on their backs but the Spidey says "Marvel 1972" on the back of his neck.
  6. Not a magazine but I thought this would be a good place to ask this question. I have a chance to buy a piece of Frank Frazetta artwork signed by Mr. Frazetta. It's numbered something like 438/2000. Any idea what would be a good price for this? Has anybody seen this before? Any info you can give me on it?
  7. I closed a deal on a lot of old 1950's DC books earlier today (see the announcement thread) and also found this guy has some books and artwork that was signed by Dave Stevens back in the 1980's. I'm hoping to meet the guy later this month to buy some of this stuff (he's not in Oklahoma).
  8. A great opportunity arose earlier today so I jumped on it. I picked up Our Fighting Forces #1,2,3 and 4 today and finalized a deal for the rest of the books at a local flea market. I pick the rest of the books up tomorrow. They are: G.I. Combat #74, 76, 77, 79, 80, 83, 86, 87 (2 copies), 88 (mostly greytone issues) Green Lantern #1 Our Army at War #52, 65 Sea Devils #4 Showcase #16, 17, 23, 27, 28, 29 The seller had most of the books graded in the 6.0-7.0 range but I think he was a little high on his grading. These are still all very nice mid-grade copies that are complete with nice white to off-white pages. He had the Showcase #23, 27 and 29 graded at VF (8.0) and they actually might be close to that. The seller assured me that none of the books had been restored in any way. I went through most of the books myself and verified that they were complete with no missing pages or cutouts and that everything was completely attached. (thumbs u I'll be starting a sales thread in Gold/Silver/Bronze for all of the books later tonight. Send me a PM if you have interest in any particular book or books.

  10. That's one hell of a good start. Welcome back.
  11. Saw these in a local Craigslist ad for a garage sale today and tomorrow. They're asking $4 each or 3 for $10. Assuming they are still there, should I go grab some and which ones should I get? I know nothing about these Star Wars figures but I knew someone on here would know about them.
  12. And the rich get richer... Great buy Andy. Wish I could find stuff like that around OKC.
  13. Thankya!!! Another Oklahoman on the boards! Welcome! (thumbs u
  14. I wasn't expecting that! I just blew tea out my nose! You sure it was tea?
  15. The right side of my thyroid gland comes out in a couple of weeks (left side is already out) so I'll be starting my Shark's Surgery Sale #3 tomorrow morning. I've already combed through and graded a bunch of Journey Into Mystery between issues 89-125. I'll scan those in the morning (front and back) and I'll get the sale started probably around 10:00 AM CST (maybe a little earlier depending when I get up). Behind those I'll be listing some earlier Iron Man Tales of Suspense and a big number of Byrne X-Men. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see listed in the new thread. Considering the need for the 2nd surgery, I've re-opened my Shark's Surgery Sale #2 thread. There's a recap of what slabs are left on the last page and I probably won't add any more slabs to that thread. Send me some reasonable offers if you see something you like in there. Mike
  16. Greggy has that effect on people. My scant offerings today. VERY nice!
  17. Congratulations Wayne! I heard you picked up a nicer Action #503 Whitman variant lately as well.
