  1. Found this in a small antique flea market today. I'm sure it's not complete but hey, it was only $3.00.
  2. Can you please not post the slab pics upside-down? I get dizzy when I have to stand on my head. Try with an I-pad... You cannot turn the screen around to see it the right way up. You can if you lock the screen (little switch at one corner).

  4. IT'S THE BIG ONE, ELIZABETH I still say we need a having-a-heart-attack icon in here.

  6. That's why I always liked you best - Mr. On-The-Ball. I feel like Tommy Smothers right now.
  7. You guys are talking about the 3-D Zone 16?
  8. I have a raw copy with the glasses loose but that doesn't mean much. I think I bought this copy off eBay and the glasses came loose with the book.
  9. Sorry to hear about the house. You've bought from me before so I'll see if I can pick something up from your sales thread. (thumbs u
  10. Yeah. It's actually Eclipse Graphic Album Series #15. I just sold the 9.2 here on the boards last month and just bought a sweet raw copy from DiceX that I'll probably have graded as well. Not sure who has the 9.6.
  11. It's hard enough to find even one of these in such high grade. But two of each?
  12. You could try and buy him dinner first. And don't forget the movie either.
  13. Is this what you call a point fixing scheme?
  14. Now that was a very successful road trip!
  15. That is just ridiculous. Not the grades on the books, but the fact that the books have been at CGC since July. They really need to do something about their non fast-track turnaround times.
  16. By Jove, I think you've got it! (thumbs u
  17. Digging through boxes that nobody else bothers to dig in. It's all perseverance, man. Just keep looking. I agree with that statement 100%. If you have multiple ways of finding comics or mags, you'll maximize your chances of finding some of the great stuff. When I lived in Illinois, I worked with a guy and we talked about comics a lot. When I'd tell him about some of my buys, he'd say "You could fall into a pile of chit and come out smelling like a bed of roses.". And I would always say "No, I just work at optimizing my opportunities." I look for comics and magazines at garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, local comic shops, on Craigslist, in online auctions, on eBay and elsewhere. Just like anything else, it's a lot of work but also kind of a mindset. Just maximize your opportunities and the good stuff will come around at some point. (thumbs u
  18. I got lucky and found one of these in a dollar box at a local store just about a month ago. (thumbs u
