I just got the grades back on my last magazine submission. Some disappointments as usual but some nice surprises as well. Alter Ego #21 CGC 9.4 (2 copies, Dave Stevens cover) Sirens of Cinema V2 #13 CGC 9.6 (Dave Stevens cover) Captain Britain #4 CGC 9.4, CGC 9.6 Captain Britain #6 CGC 9.4, CGC 9.8 Captain Britain #9 CGC 9.2 Captain Britain #10 CGC 9.4 Heavy Metal #1 CGC 8.5 Heavy Metal #2 CGC 8.5 MAD #26 CGC 6.5 Marvel Comics Super Special #2 CGC 9.4 (thumbs u Savage Tales #6 CGC 8.5, CGC 9.2 A few of these will be available for sale after I receive them. Pretty happy overall but very disappointed in the 8.5s.

I think that Shark's is the only intact copy that I've seen. His would probably be the first. I would think CGC would grade this. It's about the same size as Back Issues and I just had that one graded.

It's ashcan size - similar to the size of Back Issues.

I don't think you got ripped off, but I personally wouldn't have paid that much for 30 low to mid-grade X-Men.

So Brian, what is your proposed path to resolution now that he is paying attention to the matter? Is his declaration of "no interest" sufficient, or was there any impact (monetary or otherwise) to you holding the books for 2 months for him? "He said he definitely wanted the hero For Hire #1". 'Nuff said. An I'll take it is an I'll take it....period (whether you post the icon or not).

This is the same guy who I responded to with a big long list (30-35) of books he was looking for, gave me no response whatsoever (not even a no) and proceeded to "remove himself from this topic" without so much as a word. He's already shown that he does what he wants when he wants and could care less about anybody but himself.

Shark how did you feel about their grading? Really tight? Definitely. I was happy with a lot of the books in 4 different submissions but many of them were....uh, let's say....surprises.

I sold Green 57 copies of that one. Of the 3rd printing?

Finally found time to get the books scanned from my CGC shipments last week. Some eye candy for you Dave lovers out there....

One of those rare instances where CGC thought the grade was a lot better than I had predicted (I thought it was an 8.5).
