  1. I was going through some long boxes of Marvel comics preparing to sell at a local indoor flea market this coming weekend and found this: Rare 3rd Printing Thank god I went through those boxes a 2nd time!
  2. This is a group shot thread right?
  3. Any way you go, trimmed or not, she's a beauty. (thumbs u
  4. Received my Neal Adams Signature Series books yesterday. I was close on the Witching Hour #13 but I'm VERY disappointed with the 7.0 grade that the DC Special #6 got. Looks WAY better than that to me.
  5. Just received 11 more crappy Lady Mechanika and Zenescope books with almost nekked women on most of 'em. Why does he keep sending me the same type of books over and over again? Because I keep ordering from him, that's why! Great looking books as always that are well packed. Thanks again Dre!
  6. Wow! Condition Average: VF (Very Fine) Most better, a couple books may be Fine+ only from minor creases in spine. The up-in-the-air grading range may be the only warning what is tucked under the pile. True, but you never know... This lot ended at $108.05. Did anybody here pick this up?
  7. Finally received my Stan Lee signature series books back from CGC today. I'll be listing the following books shortly in a Golden/Silver/Bronze Age sales thread: Tales of Suspense #40 CGC 3.5 Signature Series (Stan Lee) Tales of Suspense #41 CGC 4.5 Signature Series (Stan Lee) Tales of Suspense #52 CGC 4.0 Signature Series (Stan Lee) Tales to Astonish #35 CGC 3.0 Signature Series (Stan Lee) I also received a Tales of Suspense #42 CGC 6.5 Signature Series (Stan Lee) but I'm going to keep that one for now.
  8. That has always been the case for their estimated turnaround times, though - it was from when CGC received the books till when the books left CGCs hands, not when the books actually showed up on your doorstep. Yep. You can always add at least 1 to 1-1/2 weeks to the stated turnaround times depending on which return shipping method you use. FedEx return shipping is much faster than USPS Registered Mail (2-3 days vs. about a week) but the FedEx shipments aren't insured for as much as the USPS method.
  9. It would be even better if an administrator on these boards was able to provide a drop-down link to each person's kudos thread just by clicking on that person's name considering all of the transactions that happen on these boards (similar to clicking on a person's name to send them a PM or seeing what posts they had made).
  10. Eerie 1970 Yearbook in about 9.0 and 1972 Annual in about 7.5/8.0....
  11. What did that cost you? My Caliber Presents #1 CGC 9.6 Signature Series (signed by James O'Barr) auction on eBay ends tonight.
  12. The new business model: give people crappy grades and cash-in when they pay for graders' notes Or entice them to pay for Fast Track by holding regular submissions hostage for months at a time and to make things worse, then not holding to the faster times you paid extra for to get your books back quicker. What would Billy Mays do in this situation? Why, for $19.95 you also get a helping of Oxi Clean. That's right. Dip your books in it, and watch the dirt roll away. And for one easy payment of $5, we'll tell you where the stains are located. Order now!
