  1. AWESOME!!! A Seriously wonderful Funny Book!!!! Congrats!!!
  2. That's actually a Hal Foster cover (blown up panel). That's awesome!! I had no idea Yeah, that's a nice find. What a sweet copy!!! (thumbs u
  3. Wow!!! Nice group shot!!!! As time goes by, it gets more difficult to put together a run like that.
  4. Nice group. (thumbs u That #4, especially, looks fantastic...
  5. I know there was a "Little Nemo" graphic novel published. Don't know much, other might, maybe BB
  6. OK..here's a Little Nemo one pager from Star comics #5
  7. Sorry, but I just looked and can't find my Little Nemo scans... I must have deleted them.... edit: or mis-placed them somewhere....I hate when that happens...
  8. Wow BZ... I didn't know Winsor's son also drew comic books. The style is just like his father's. I've got some Winsor "Nemo" pages scanned from Star comics, I'll try to post them. Just for comparison purposes... (thumbs u
  9. Wow Marty... that's incredible I thought I was an old timer, but you have me beat by a good 10 yrs. Rock on!!!!
  10. Wow!!! The Spidey's Annuals are fantastic!!! Spidey #3 & 8 are both sharp copies for earlier issues...nice Don... (thumbs u
  11. I have that in a mylar...I'll have to pull that out this week and give it a re-read...it's been awhile... You guys must be mind readers; this was at my LCS, and even though it was ND (no discount - consignment), I pulled the trigger. Off-white-to-white pages, and has that "read once" feeling. So now I have FF Annuals 1, 4, and 5 in grade; still need to find a 2 (as Chris notes) and a 3. Here's my #2...it is VERY white! Tom, nice looking copy. This book( #2) is also one of my favorite SA books. If it was not for the FF #5 reprint, and perhaps instead a longer feature story "Final Victory of Dr. Doom", I could have ranked this as high as FF Annual #1. Regardless, it's still one of my favorite books. If you are gonna reprint something, FF #5 ain't too shabby.... (thumbs u
  12. I didn't mean ciroac. I meant Parker. Just kidding. I think it's cool you don't really have specific books in mind. Right now is a good time to buy FF's (as Jive said). Not alot of heat in the market right now, so some good buys can be had. If you're looking for some good storylines, go for the Doom stuff (39-40, 57-60, 84-86). Also, I mentioned in another thread, the 74-77 arc is epic cosmic stuff at a more economic price point than 48-50 & 55. Also, the first couple annuals are really good. #2 expands on Doom's origin. Tony Isabella refers to FF Annual 1 as the greatest comic book ever made....and he's not joking. It's certainly one of them......GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u It's a good one... but for me (as a lot of "boardies" already know...) it's ASM Annual #1 .... That was a masterpiece, tops FF Annual #1 IMO.
  13. A 6.5 compared to the copy I had that was missing the back cover (plus the front was creased to no end) is HUGE...
  14. Nice one Steve I think this is the most overlooked early FF book of all (for good reason though). It's actually not a bad issue, story is OK, the art is classic Kirby, but it's just that the other "early" issues of the FF run are so GOOD, that this issue pales a little when compared to them. (thumbs u It's also an issue I picked up at school (a copy without a back cover) from another kid (in school), and was happy to have a copy because this issue was a little hard to find where i lived back in 1964 (the year i got my first copy). So I hold this issue (especially presentable copies), with a little higher regard. Nice Steve...keep it up.
  15. This copy is a beauty...no wonder you like TTA more than TOS...
  16. It's nice to see high-grade copies of this book.
  17. Agree--that's why I took my avatar from that cover. No, you need a baxter building avatar...
  18. Thanks Fazy, Hah! Me too...that's why I'm selling stuff.
  19. Hi Fazy Nice books. I love both of them. Great pick-ups!!!
  20. I don't see how pressing the Annual would help it very much... Looks great the way it is...
