    oops...

Is that a grader issue or a labeling issue? It's a Superman Masterpiece Edition #1 copy I think... but Sig Series projects especially with non-comic signers may be its own special queue. EDIT: Clearly a labeling issue:
  2. Slabbing so many at once was probably a bad idea actually... given the perceived scarcity.
  3. They had multiple covers for Robin II: The Joker's Wild #2. 3 Direct Edition Hologram covers and regular Direct Edition cover. The one with the white box and Batman (Newsstand), and one with the white box and barcode. I probably have 2-3 long boxes of just Robin limited series. Some retailers seriously overordered these in the 90's.

  13. Hi Everyone, RULES: First "I'll take it" in the thread wins and trumps any PM negotiations until the post has been updated as SOLD in the thread. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded, and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Please do not edit "I'll take its". Payment: Payment by PayPal, Venmo, Check/MO, or Cash in person. Invoices will go out after the thread ends or during a lull in posting. Payment expected within 72 hours unless we communicate and agree ahead of time. Shipping: $12 for the 1st slab within the USA. +$2 for each additional slab. Domestic shipping is via Priority Mail usually. International shipping will be at cost and must be determined prior to sale. (Please do not ask for media mail.) Returns: All sales on CGC graded books are final. Please inspect the images for damage to the case before buying. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless the item was damaged in transit.
  14. A small show will not cause people to stay that long typically, so to extend their stay you might have raffles starting after mid-day (maybe at 1pm and 4pm which you advertise as well). You solicit some of these raffle items from your vendors or artists. (Or you make it an auction for Charity.) When you start this raffle/auction of course, you plug the vendor or artist unless they want to remain anonymous.
  15. The Internet seems to think that a firmware update and/or scanning at 300 dpi rather than the default 200 dpi may solve this. Worth a shot…
  16. Yes. It doesn't sound like it's getting updated past a certain point (where it actually doesn't get scanned). It sounds like an automated message. The system KNOWS how long a package should take to get from facility A to facility B. Once it exceeds that time factor without being scanned in, it probably drops in some automated delay message...possibly with some waypoint information. Bakersfield to Northern California should not take multiple days or almost a week... It's about a four-hour drive to the Bay Area. I can mail a Priority Mail package to another person in the Bay Area. It will probably go to the Oakland facility that night, be sorted, and then be delivered the next day. (Even for 2-Day.)
  17. Clearly, that UPS shipping manager was blowing smoke. It was physically scanned during the evening sort at the UPS Hub at 10pm. It's a four-hour drive from the Sarasota facility to the Jacksonville facility. (How they can say it's still in CGC's Vault is strange.) With items shipped via UPS, does an “Origin Scan” mean UPS actually has the item? Yes. The Origin Scan is a physical scan of the package at the hub where the package has been taken to after pick-up, or where it has been dropped-off. It will occur during the evening sort before it is dispatched to the next stop.
