  1. A step or two down from PGX, and that's saying something.
  2. I shipped 25 or so books at once, and only a couple were express. I put "Ex" on the outside. Worked fine for me.
  3. Now for those who think I give everything a pass, I do have my criticisms. I just tend to look for the good in stuff, focus on that, and try to maintain a sense of fun about it. The same goes for comics and anything regarding entertainment really.
  4. I've wondered about comics featuring nudity on the cover since some were obviously slabbed at some point. I have a few in my collection, and it would be nice to know in case I find a reason to submit one.
  5. There’s that elitism I love in Star Wars fans. I like the “Disneyfied garbage” just fine and I’ve been a Star Wars for decades.
  6. Yeah, with the amount of signatures, a harsher color might have distracted from the artwork.
  7. I do wish they had gone with a different color choice, but it’ll do. Ha ha.
  8. I couldn't disagree more. I loved his Venom run as well as KIB. His Thor run has had its ups and downs, but I loved the first arc and am enjoying the current one. I think he's far from a one trick pony.
  9. Good lord. How old are you people? Of course, I know who you're talking about, so I guess I'm in the same boat.
  10. Yeah, I remember hearing the horror stories from other posters a couple months ago about this place. Sorry about this, man.
  11. Somewhere in Time was my first Maiden album, so it holds a special place in my heart. Definitely in my top 3 Maiden albums.
  12. Have you entered the tracking number into the "Confirm Package Delivery" section of the "My Submissions" page? That should let you know if they have it in their warehouse or not. https://www.cgccomics.com/account/my-submissions/
  13. I'm getting used to it, but I've really only been using it for one-issue signing submissions lately.
  14. I'm already falling behind, but I think I can catch up. 62 comics so far, mostly very recent issues (The Death of Doctor Strange mini was great), but I have been trying to catch up with Jason Aaron's current Avengers run. Just finished #38. I have to say, I think I liked the Age of Khonshu arc a lot more than many people. I'm surprised at all the flak it got. I do feel like the run was treading water after the first arc, but once the Starbrand arc kicked off, I started to really enjoy the book again.
  15. I'm not sure why you think you speak for all of us.
  16. I'm sure I will too, but Donny couldn't help but try to hype it up beforehand...which was a bit irksome.
  17. I'm sure the A cover would have been jacked up to $10 and the 1:10 to $20 if he had it there. It's becoming more and more of an issue with this particular store as certain issues which should be cover price have been bumped up due to popularity. With incentive covers, I understand it. With regular covers, limit it to one a customer, but leave the price alone.
  18. I was hoping to find an A cover in shops, but nope. Diamond distribution problem. Nice. :/ I grabbed the 1:10 and 1:25 online yesterday. Paid about $15 for the A cover today online. After Thor #20 and Black Panther #3 being a pain to get recently, these kinds of situations are starting to grate on me. I might have to start doing a few pre-orders for regular issues.
