  1. Peach Momoko is hit or miss for me, but I love this cover for the recent Defenders mini (a great read as well).
  2. Understood. I would have stopped commenting long ago if several members of the forum hadn't felt the need to belittle me.
  3. Do you people have nothing better to do?
  4. I'll do what I please, mate.
  5. Not until now. Actually I have very few people on ignore. Just a select number of clowns who have been sufficiently annoying.
  6. This "noob" learned long ago to put kav on ignore. It's adorable that he thinks his opinions are relevant.
  7. Hilarious. My original post stands.
  8. Yeah, pages and pages of positions, not specifically the ones paying $15/hr without digging. That is not what I’m talking about and you know it. I’m talking about the blind speculation and bashing going on here.
  9. I’m banking a little on the second print of Timeless with the 1:50 Miss Minutes cover as well, but it may not have as much of an impact.
  10. I really haven’t. I’m going by the comments I’ve read. You all are going by a couple lines in an email with zero information as to the actual job.
  11. Oh look, people jumping to conclusions with very little information. $15 is still too low for any job though.
  12. That's how I feel when I keep buying things like store exclusives and extra covers for Hulk #1 and Venom #1. I ask myself, "What the hell are you doing?" as i drop yet another $20-$30 on another exclusive. Ha ha.
  13. One thing to note is that if a variant features a cover appearance of a new character, that might be the one to go with. See Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters - Jabba the Hutt.
  14. When something is selling for that low, it's usually not worth it to get it graded considering the cost involved and, more importantly now, the time it takes to get back. By the time you get a slab back (six months or so?), the market may have cooled on that particular book. Things are really volatile as buyers and sellers hop onto the "new big thing", especially with comics that have become hot due to appearances in Marvel shows. It's best to wait a bit, keep what you consider a good investment bagged and boarded and safe, and wait until it's proven its worth to be stable.
  15. The standard cover. Usually the variant covers are listed as such on the front as “variant”. Places like this should you help you know going in: https://blog.gocollect.com/category/comiclist-news/this-week/
  16. If it’s not an incentive cover or store exclusive or other rarer variant, investment-wise, I’ve found it’s usually best to go with the A cover. Me, I tend to just go with whatever variant I like artwise and pick up a rarer variant now and again if I really dig it. It’s where I straddle the line between investing and pure enjoyment of the medium.
  17. I didn’t forget it. I just ignored it. I’ve read my fair share of the books and comics, but IMO, the characters became uber-powerful versions of themselves with all the fan service.
  18. I sold my original copies of Batman 655 and 656 last year, then decided I was a m*ron for doing so, and rebought them recently. I’m thankful that the prices are still reasonable. I just need to grab another copy of the 666 I sold last year too. Ha ha.
  19. So, I just snagged a copy of this ZBox exclusive. Any idea what kind of print run there was for these or how many of these boxes went out?
  20. Yeah, such a badass that he lost control of his jet pack and fell into the Sarlacc pit. Disappointment comes from ascribing mythical qualities to a character that originally got very little screen time.
  21. Moon Knight has been a great run so far. It's only six issues in at the moment. Hulk and Venom's new runs have just begun so it's still a little early in the game to make a definitive judgment, but if you like the characters, some wild things are going on right now. Thor is a great title as well, but it's 20 issues in, so it's either back issues or trades to catch up. Most of the other stuff I love regarding DC and indies are mini-series which will be ending soon. I will say The Silver Coin from Image is a really solid horror anthology.
