    Thanks! Yeah, I wish Skottie would go back to the style of the last few covers in the C&D series now and again instead of doing the "kiddie" look of his covers all the time (not that I don't love that style as well).

    I wonder if part of it is maintaining a good looking inventory on display. If someone every once in a while comes in and pays full price, it's a win for them, and if slabs have been sitting around and they have new ones to show, they can just sell the old ones online.

    The first arc was a combination of boring art, unlikeable characters, and a bland story. Oof. I wonder how sales are doing.

    On a side note, I had a hell of a time tracking down that cover of #2 recently, and even then, it was far from mint.

    The first arc was not great by any means, but the current one is better, if still not at the level of quality I'd like.

    I can understand the feeling, but the style seems appropriate for those particular characters to me I guess. It certainly wouldn't be a style I'd apply across the board.

    I have a 9.8 that I had been thinking of getting signed in the CGC event from like a month ago, but I was afraid I'd get a stricter grader and it would come back a 9.6 or something. Ha ha. Didn't want to chance it. I sent in a couple other titles though, one of them being his cover of Gideon Falls #1 since I'm a huge fan of the series.

    I've never seen people more entitled than boomers. The newest generation I find much more accepting of others and often much smarter than so-called adults. Your case isn't helped by implying kids need a good spanking these days. Please.

    There are so many great variant covers of later issues too. I keep picking them up. Not likely to ever be worth much more than what I paid for them, but I just love the art.
