  1. Simply awesome thanks for sharing @BDubs. Congrats on adding this grail to your collection!
  2. That finished logo makes all the difference. Those perfectly placed signatures are awesome writings on the wall too! That has to be one of my favourite pieces I’ve seen. Real poignant. Even more so now that Mirage has gone. Amazing piece! Thanks for sharing!
  3. I’ve just submitted my first comic to be graded and I wondered if it will look similar casing to the one you have. I can’t wait to see what mine comes back as! It’s TMNT #2 first printing!
  4. It's a great thing being able to take it off your shelf like that, knowing that you have it!
  5. I hope you find the NYCC #3 variant! Let us know when you do!
  6. You're going to have the TMNT #16 cover illustrated on?
  7. This is an amazing purchase! Is this real?! Please share pictures when you get these!
  8. That's really interesting info. Thanks for taking time to share this.
  9. It seems like a very good price to me. #2 is now a 1k comic it seems. A 9.6 at just over 1k seems good to me. Congrats!
  10. What did you just buy? The link takes you only to eBay page?
  11. Excellent thanks @rich_TMNT! I’ll have fun reading through Peter Laird’s blog
  12. What an awesome set of comics to have scattered on the table!
  13. I feel much more reassured now, thank you @Turtle! Perhaps issue 32 was printed differently since it was for a 30th anniversary event, rather than for the market in the way issues 29 and 30 were?
  14. I just received a copy of TMNT volume 4 #32 to finally complete my run of volume 4 - very happy! I have noticed issue 32 is ever so slightly smaller than the others? It looks legit, other than size is a few mm's smaller than the others in the series, but I am slightly anxious I have a fake/self printed copy. I'd feel a bit more relieved if others were able to let me know that theirs are smaller too? Thanks guys
  15. The turtles are funny like that. Dismiss them at your peril! I hear it time and time again, everywhere!
  16. Your friend was smart to buy the book as that seems the cheaper way to get that reprint!
  17. I thought I was alone preferring clean copies and the original/early sigs. Perhaps Kevin signing everything is driving up the scarcity of the non signed copies.
  18. Very cool. Lucky you for being a part of the volume 4 community. I posted a letter for volume 4 around the time issue 28 came out in 2006. It never made print. Either it was a very bad letter or it got lost between printing issue 28 and 29! Peter did sign my #29 though, so that is something!
  19. I finally read all of volume 4. All 32 issues. Reading #32 was both very exciting but also bittersweet, as it felt like a goodbye from Peter and Mirage, mostly reading the letters from fans at the end. While volume 4 most likely won't be continued (very sad here) I am glad all over that it exists in the first place. I really like the inks by Steve Lavigne with Jim Lawson's pencils. It seems like the artwork was going in a new direction at this point. Issue #32 ends on a real cliff hanger (frustrating!)! I wish there was more to come. I need to find a printed version of #32 now! I love volume 4!
