  1. Ditto It's justified, considering what you're waiting for.
  2. See! I told you guys you were worrying for nothing!
  3. You need to dim the lights a bit when determining DC PQ
  4. This looks like a better copy, and it's robojo-free - 6.0 CR/OW. About the price, now that is another matter. http://cgi.ebay.com/Brave-and-the-Bold-28-CGC-6-0-1st-Justice-League-app_W0QQitemZ350425021381QQcategoryZ32737QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp5197.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D10%26pmod%3D180605640335%252B280608479439%252B360331485707%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5953327348344470672#ht_1379wt_1141
  5. Let's fire this thread back up. Behold the coming of the Savannah copy http://comics.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=7030&LotIdNo=47004#Photo
  6. Wow - a recently discovered collection + new pedigree + new movie = price in the stratosphere
  7. That's a nice copy. I was wondering if it would be cost-effective to have a book like this washed to remove the tide lines. Kenny did an amazing job on my GA Wonder Woman's that were water damaged. They look like new. But washing a book is considered restoration, so I guess no gain.. It's remarkable how many SC #22's have 7/28 written or stamped on them. My copy has it in pencil. Matt Nelson said it could be easily removed, but I decided to just leave it So, where and when is the next HG Showcase #22 going to materialize Bob
  8. Finally. We started discussing this 10 pages back. It could be a good candidate for a PQ bump per previous observations about this particular slab's vintage. What the heck, it probably can't go down in PQ Although grade could be risky on a resub
  9. Did you get confirmation that your bid was accepted and the book was still available?
  10. They definitely are headed in the right direction
  11. That 9.0 #24 continues to drop in price - now $5,999.
  12. Funny that replacing staples gets a Purple, married pages a Green, but replacing a cover & several wraps with color copies gets a blue. Weird.
  13. My mistake. I thought you meant the show was cancelled. But how could that be given it's popularity. My apologies.
  14. Don't quote me on this, but I seem to recall a seller has about 10 days to ship the book to Comiclink.
  15. I'm pretending I own it. You think c-link will play along?
  16. The show is over after December?! No new episodes after the Christmas holidays? I did not hear that. It's hugely popular, I would assume it would continue. "The Big Bang Theory will return in early January." http://www.examiner.com/tv-in-lexington/the-big-bang-theory-takes-a-break-review
  17. A very nice (thumbs u and logical acquisition!
  18. Ok, but don't tell the Marvel guys. They'll want it too. Hey, I'm a Marvel guy. me some too
  19. Ok, but don't tell the Marvel guys. They'll want it too.
  20. we know what seriously though, based on what kryptospidey said it's a different situation.
  21. The PQ is less than ideal though. the cover exhibits no characteristics of a book with light tan pages (if that makes any sense) such as That back cover is very White...and no tell tale signs of interior cover tanning showing thru either cover... They may actually have nothing to do with one another,i just picture a book with low quality "Tan" pages having other "tanning problems" with the book.... Perhaps the 9.0 may be a PQ upgrade candidate via a review by CGC? (It is after all, an old label) But that, as has been discussed, carries certain risks. Not only "Old Label",but graded 1/2000 in the first months CGC was open....the first books slabbed a month or so prior for dealers had NO PQ on them.... Something to think about.... Now...if someone can get an even better scan or willing to take a risk for a ow pager. You could always throw up a bid I am so bad
