  1. I grew up at the drags, (car not cross-dressers) and Rat Fink was a cool daddy for sure.
  2. Not for me! Even though I'm a big Flash fan, this show is tight (thumbs u
  3. Maybe after the explosion and his escape into the sewers, as he became intelligent his territorial instinct blending with the birth of an enlightened mind manifested in these early cave writings.
  4. Oh man! I had all of these as a kid (though I didn't use a marker on the Creature's face). Nice going! I had Godzilla, King Kong and the creature but alas not the skills to complete them. You had to be real good to make one of these kits look decent when complete. I could never get the pieces to fit together seamlessly. I wonder if it was lack of skill or the pieces were made a little warped. Interesting memory . . .
  5. Ah those wild George Barris creations - loved the drag racing episodes of the Munsters!!!! I lived near one of his shops in Hollywood and used to see them test drive all kinds of crazy vehicles on the road by them from time to time.
  6. Joey delivered once again. Got a key I was jonesin' for, for a very fair price. Great service, friendly communications always. I highly recommend giving him a try. (thumbs u
  7. Six sounds about right to me as well. Enjoy it before it goes between the plastic sheets (thumbs u
  8. The SA Flash Volume 1 Omnibus came out last year(collects SC4-Flash #132), that would be the best place to start. Having said that a lot of the run is really corny and if you think the show has plot holes the comics will make your head spin. Still love it though I'm kind of astounded how different the stories seem when I read them. It's a reminder that the intended audiences were young boys. Still the great memories of reading the characters exploits are enduring.
  9. I'm really looking forward to tonights show I'm glad they seem to be moving quickly to bring Ollie back home alive. I would hate to see them drag out the mourning and sad phase they were all in during the last show.
  10. +1 couldn't have said it better myself. (thumbs u Arrow seems to be on another level as far as the writing and seriousness of the show. That's fine, but I think they need to close some of the plot holes and start to pay more attention to details that fans like us take seriously.
  11. I'm stocking up on copies for a group submission for the second part of my registry set. I just bought a #97, #98 & #99 off FlyingDonut, and I have a #62 & #100 waiting to go to CGC as well. So until I've accumulated 15 books to makeup a bulk submission - I'm in the market for #63, 66-96, 101-104.
  12. I don't think continuity is this shows strongest suit
  13. I picked up the archive edition 1 to re-read the Showcase origin and stories, but they are very early. The subsequent editions would be a good place to get up to speed, no pun intended.
  14. I hope they got some feedback on the forums they read, assuming they don't know we're even alive, that they listen to and not take our intelligence so lightly and give us more plausible battle scenes.
  15. I paid just a tad more for my 6.0 last year
  16. Was anyone watching this 6.0 copy of Showcase #30 on ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/221666527995?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It closed at just over $800
  17. And that's real nice for a 4.0 to boot! You did good
  18. does anyone else think laurel is far and away the worst part of the show? I don't enjoy any scene that she's in. She is terrible. +100 The worst part of the show  I think we got it Tough thread for Laurel. I don't think she's that bad. I don't know who caught this, but there was a scene with a shot of her from behind, in costume, that got my blood pressure going. She's got some nice assets
