  1. Lucky you! . . . and more proof of why it's good to get out to a show every so often.
  2. Still a nice looking copy for just a 4.0. I've gained some new respect for lower graded CGC books lately. They seem to be a lot tougher than the competition.
  3. I re-watched the show last night, and I was relishing this very thing - when he speaks I feel like I'm reading the comic pages - that's how they characterized him. And I also think the same of Heatwave. I love the outfits they were too. Like real-life versions of the ones they donned in the comic.
  4. I think it's incredible that we're saying $19, 800 is a "steal" - I remember buying a mid-grade copy for just over a grand only a few years ago. Things slowed down a little, let's be happy if occasionally a one gets through the net a little cheaper
  5. Are you appearing as RF? No- but I actually did pick up some Reverse-Flash t-shirts recently... I got to get me a Flash shirt! Then we can duel
  6. I was thinking the same thing - I really like the "agreement" they have. Also, Grant does seem to be more muscular, and I liked that he's getting a little tougher. I almost hoped he kicked Capt Cold's arse for what he did to Cisco when he was facing him. But I guess liked how they resolved it better. Excellent, excellent show!
  7. Smart not to exclude that demo. Arrow is a little more hard-core, I doubt that water cooler ladies would approve. Although I'm sure Ollie is what they call a beef-cake
  8. I too was wondering this - why? Without Flash, there is no Reverse Flash, and Barry's mother presumably has to die for Flash to exist. Cue the huge argument about time loops... . . . after I recover my skull fragments after my head burst
  9. I kinda agree with you - but there is that staying - and then he killed . . . But we already know that ain't going to stick (thumbs u
  10. THAT IS A WHOLE LOT OF AWSOME BILL C - WOWSER!!!!! (worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)
  11. That was by far, the best rendition of a super-hero, super villain I have EVER seen on television. You got to give it to them, this is TV, not sky's-the-limit movie budgets, and done on a much shorter shooting schedule. It was wonderfully paced, moving from one character to another and back again, moving the story just enough in each scene, then cut to the next, and again, keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire show. And the emotional highs and lows, when Cisco - well you know - and Iris, ok you saw that - it was the best show yet. And by quantum leaps. I can only imagine what they're going to throw at us tomorrow.on Arrow. To be fair, MAOS is also improving, and it was a pretty good show tonight as well. But what I love about The Flash, is they immediately decided to go the full-monty with costumed super-heros and super-villains, and I'll be darned, they are pulling it off - ON TV! I can only imagine that Marvel is going to pull out all the stops with Dare Devil, and I'm very impressed by the previews and villains they've announced (Kingpin). But you can't take anything away from what these folks have done. Great show tonight! Wow
  12. You're observations seem well founded in the facts (thumbs u It's amazing how few sales of WW #1's and Sen #1's in 2014 and 2015 are listed in GPA.

  15. Are there many? I haven't seen any in my eBay daily searches. GATor would be a good person to ask this as he's had quite a few of both books and I surmise is always looking at books that come to market. That's who I usually rely on for info on them. He hasn't posted in this tread lately though . . .
  16. Plus, how could a movie with a sinister Kevin Bacon and a scenery-chewing Jeff Bridges suck? I saw the film 3 times, tried to be as positive as possible, but you can't put lipstick on a pig and expect it to fly, I think the saying goes Twice myself, after the first time I was thinking maybe I misunderstood the tone (maybe not so much Hellboy, but Men In Black). Definitely, not as good as Men In Black II, which was pretty . It was tough to sit next to my Marvel buddy and try to make it look like I actually though what was happening was great.

  18. Like you've met either. Actually, my brother was a test pilot in the Navy . . .
  19. RR didn't convince me for a second that he was a test pilot or Green Lantern.
